4th of July and New Years at Disney Hollywood Studios

The 4th of July and New Year’s are two of the biggest days of celebration for Americans each year, and since no one puts on a better party or show like the Walt Disney World theme parks, it is no wonder why so many people choose to celebrate these momentous occasions with a trip to Central Florida. Disney’s Hollywood Studios may not seem like the first choice for many guests when it comes to celebrating these holidays, but it actually might be the best place to go! In addition, there will be two showings of Fantasmic!, along with a music group and DJ performing under Mickey’s Hat before the “Lights, Camera, Happy New Year” fireworks show rings in 2009 at the stroke of midnight! Guests visiting on this day should also be on the lookout for Cast Members giving away hats and noise makers to all patrons at the park, as this is a Disney tradition that takes place at all four theme parks.

The 4th of July is one of the biggest holidays of the year in the United States as well, and since this holiday is jam-packed into the middle of summer (Disney’s biggest tourist season), expect the theme parks to be a lot more crowded in general around this time.
