Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park has six lands – Discovery Island, Dinoland U.S.A., Asia, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Africa and Rafiki’s Planet Watch. One of the most enchanting of all is Asia, home to arguably the park’s biggest attraction, Expedition Everest, in the midst of the mythical kingdom of Anandapur. This merchandise store is located at the exit to the ride, but it serves as much more than just a walk-through store. In fact, it essentially continues the story of the infamous “Yeti” through its merchandise, with items related to the Himalayan Mountains, themed items from the ride itself and everything from backpacks to hats with images of the Yeti adorning them.

Other stores in Asia include Mandala Gifts, where you can purchase more Asia or tiger-themed gifts, and the Maharajah Jungle Trek Shop, whose main entity is clothes. This store is not so coincidentally near the Kali River Rapids attraction, so those clothes and shoes could come in handy if you are looking something to wear after your super soaking adventure. Finally, if you make the nearby stop to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, be on the lookout for the store Out of the Wild. This shop reflects what this area of the park is all about – conservation and education – as conservation-themed T-shirts and souvenirs are aplenty here.
