Vacations are meant to be getaways and times of relaxation. The Downtown Disney® Marketplace has a wide array of shops and restaurants to please any member of the family. While families might enjoy the World of Disney® Store and the men in your family will likely enjoy a jaunt to the Team Mickey Athletic Club, women especially will likely want to spend some extra time in Basin. Located right across from the World of Disney® Store at the main entrance to the Downtown Disney® Marketplace, guests can get a strong sense of what this store is all about without ever stepping foot inside. Products range from bath crystals to soaps, shampoo and facial products. The soaps are enticing, as they are priced by the gram and feature many different colors and aromas, while some bars even take on the shape of animals such as dolphins (or, during Christmas for example, the soaps can be made into shapes such as Christmas trees or snowmen). This store is also unique in that many of the bath crystals and other products reside in basins all around the store, allowing guests to fill a bag with their own unique combination to take back home with them. And, be sure to look on the shelves around the perimeter of the store as well, as there are baskets that can be filled with various products around the store for one convenient price (each basket specifies what it can be filled with).

With all of the stores located in the Downtown Disney® Area, it would be easy to spend all of your time (and money) in this one area of the Walt Disney World® Resort. However, there are a few things you need to keep in mind, especially if you are a guest at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel.
