Tips for Enjoying Epcot®
Here at Orlando Fun Tickets we understand that the theme parks are sometimes confusing and overwhelming to navigate. We have been to Epcot® several times so take our advice and you will be one step ahead of the crowd!
1. When first arriving at Epcot®, pick up fast passes for the Test Track Attraction, and Mission: SPACE, presented by HP. These are two of the most crowded rides in ©Disney.
2. Florida is hot. Cool down in one of three interactive play fountains in Epcot. Two are to the right of the bridge before heading to World Showcase. The third is between Mission: SPACE and the Wonders of Life Pavillion.
3. While the World Showcase at Epcot® is often a favorite attraction for adults, the many shops can get boring for kids. One way to make sure your little ones have fun is by stopping at a Kidcot Fun Stop in each country. The tables always have some sort of arts and crafts project on them for the kids to work on (currently, it is masks). Each country offers something new for kids to add to their project, and at the end of the World Showcase your kid will love their home made souvenir.
4. Look into getting the Epcot Passport once in the parks. You can purchase one at most of the shops and carts in Epcot. Kids especially love these because they come with stickers, and a “I’m a World Showcase Traveler” pin. The whole family will enjoy getting the passport “stamped” at each land and fun memorabilia of your trip.
5. If you bring a camera with you, Epcot® is full of scenic places to take pictures. One of our personal favorites is right after you enter the park. By standing far in front of Spaceship Earth and taking the picture in a funky angle, whoever is modeling can pretend to hold the giant silver ball in his or her hands, or maybe even lean on it. Other than that, be sure to take advantage of the many Kodak photo spots in the ©Disney Park.
6. The fireworks show produces a lot of smoke. Be sure that wherever you sit to watch it, the wind is not blowing in your face, otherwise the smoke will be too, once the show starts.
