The Haunted Mansion is a creepy but fun ride that takes place in a dark mansion. Guests encounter lots of ghosts, but as with most rides in Disney, it never gets too scary for the little ones.
Even if you hate roller coasters, you might want to give The Hulk at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure a try. Many people have become believers after riding this 60mph coaster. Beware though, it does go upside down seven times. Still not convinced? Try riding The Adventures of Spiderman, right next door to its giant green neighbor. Follow Spiderman as he fights villains on this 3-d, motion based simulator ride.
Universal Studios recently opened two new rides that are very different in content but similar in that they are both big on fun. On Revenge of the Mummy riders barely escape the wrath of warrior mummies on an indoor roller coaster, also not too scary for those who don’t like coasters. This one never goes upside down, but does head through some darkness. For more lighthearted fun try Shrek 4-D. It’s a new 3-D movie-like experience that will have you laughing.
