The beloved characters of the Disney blockbuster hit "Toy Story" will be making their debut in a new interactive ride slated to open in Disney's MGM Studios in 2008.

The new ride is called "Toy Store Mania," which might be the only way to describe this unique experience. Guests are given special 3-D glasses to wear before they are shrunk down to the size of a toy. Then they get to go for a ride in toy boxes through a popping land of animation. The theme is that of a Midway with fun games to play around every turn in the path.

Each "toy box" is equipped with toy cannons so that upon stopping at each game booth, guests can actually play! Riders aren't alone on this adventure though. At each booth there is a different Toy from the movie there to root them on. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Bo Peep, and the Little Green Men are just some of the friends guests will meet along the way.

Guests of all ages will love this ride as it does not require any skill level to participate in the friendly competition with one's fellow riders. To make the experience even more exciting, there are hidden targets throughout the ride, and the games change every time a new "toy box" rides through. This means that park-goers can ride the attraction over and over and have a new and different experience every time!
