Disney Boardwalk!!!
There is a ton of fun to be had around the Disney property. The main fun is common knowledge: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and the most recent addition Animal Kingdom. However, there’s lots more to do around these particular theme parks. Something you should definitely look into is Disney Boardwalk.
Located conveniently next to Epcot, Disney Boardwalk offers a variety of in house fun to be had. In the large Community Hall, you can stop by for some board games, arts and crafts and lots of other activities for the whole family. Just around the corner from the hall is Side Show games, which has a variety of video games. If you’d rather have fun outdoors, you can fish, enjoy the 24 hour children’s playground, rent bicycles, play tennis or just go for a jog on the 8 mile jogging trail that leads around all Epcot area resorts.
If you’d rather relax and simply enjoy being away from all the stress, you can rent a water craft such as a pontoon or canopy boat and take a nice cruise around beautiful Crescent lake, which is right in front of the hotel. The Muscles and Bustles Health Club has state of art workout equipment and you can also make an appointment to get a nice long massage. And it wouldn’t be a Florida resort without some fun in the sun. If that’s what you are looking for, you’ll want to take a dip into Luna Park, Boardwalk’s large swimming pool. And don’t forget to take a trip down the Keister Coaster waterslide, it’s 200 feet long!
Last but certainly not least are the dinning opportunities. There’s the Flying Fish Café for a thick steak and a refreshing take on Seafood. You can also visit the The ESPN Club and watch your favorite sports team mix it up on their 100 screens, while the kids can play in The Yard, a fully stocked arcade. Spoodles is a restaurant for those who want to think outside the box and the country! With dishes from Greece, Italy, Spain and North Africa, it’s bound to entire those with a worldly palette.
