Walt Disney World is known around the globe as the place where dreams really do come true. This year, Disney is taking that mantra a whole step further by introducing their new year-long celebration – The Year of a Million Dreams. This first-of-its-kind event celebrates your dreams coming true and the Disney Cast Members that make magic for their Disney guests every day.

For The Year of a Million Dreams Celebration, Disney created brand new attractions and shows to help carry out this celebration. Among the new rides and attractions to hit the Walt Disney World Resort is The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot. This attraction features Nemo and his underwater friends from the animated feature “Finding Nemo,” as one of the world’s largest salt-water aquaria becomes home to this great story. Finding Nemo – The Musical has also debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. This all-new Broadway-style show also stars characters from “Finding Nemo” and features music that was written just for this show. This production uses puppets, dancers, acrobats and inspiring music to set the scene of this “seastravaganza.”

Another musical show that has set up shop at Walt Disney World is the High School Musical Pep Rally. Based on the immensely popular Disney Channel movie, you can catch Wildcat fever at this one-of-a-kind pep rally that features cheerleaders and basketball players teaching you cheers and dance moves as you groove to the top songs from the movie. Other new attractions and entertainment for The Year of a Million Dreams include the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial, Woody’s Cowboy Camp and the Main Street Family Fun Day Parade.

The Year of a Million Dreams is not just about new shows, however. During this celebration, Disney truly wants to make the dreams come true for over a million people – and that includes tons of giveaways each and every day all across property! Disney is already known for its guest service, but that is cranked up this year as Cast Members will be interacting with guests in a new way with new and exciting surprises that only Disney can provide.
