Classiest Event in Town
Around the world at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, there are exhibits galore, and many of them feature the best wines and beers found anywhere. Different regions are being featured for some special ten-day experiences that focus on a particular area of the world. Through October 14, guests are being treated to the best of Michoacán, Mexico. Then it’s over to Puglia, Italy from October 19-28. Finally, The Greek Wine Bar Island will be open from October 26-November 4. Here guests can indulge in more than 12 wines (for sale by the glass) and learn about the wonderfully unique variety of grapes used in Greece to make their world-class wines.
Argentina and Chile are two South American countries that are featured at the “Andes Mountain Wine Bar.” Here there are more than 20 wines available from both sides of this South American mountain range, all by the glass for your tasting bliss. On more familiar turf, the “American Wine Adventure” showcases wine from California’s Napa Valley area and the lesser known wine regions of New York. Here, tasters can compare America’s East and West coast wines and decide who’s best.
Wine not your thing? Then there is always the beer. For a deeper look at the beers you love, the daily seminar, “The History of Beer in America” teaches beer’s American history while describing both the artistic and scientific sides of whipping up the brew. There are also daily seminars available on International Beers of the World, so not matter what you like, there’s something at Epcot for you.
