The Polar Express Experience at SeaWorld

The polar bears, beluga whales and walruses residing year-round at The Wild Arctic attraction have decided to spruce things up a bit for the holidays. These cool creatures got together with the SeaWorld crew and created The Polar Express Experience, a thrilling simulated adventure that takes guests on a wild ride through the film by Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and drops them off in the fantastical Santa Town.
The Wild Arctic underwent some minor temporary changes to adapt to its new theme, including a transportation swap from a helicopter to the old-time railway car seen in “The Polar Express.” All exterior banners and signs have been updated to reflect the new Polar theme and throughout the attraction, riders are drawn into the whole railroad idea by decorations and props along the way. The simulated ride on The Polar Express includes a trip through the mountainous hills of “Glacier Gultch” as well as several flying expeditions. There is a “nonmotion train” available for any guest that do not wish to dip high and low through the Polar ice and snow.Whichever ride you choose, all guests wind up in the Arctic Station-turned-over-the-top Santa Town, which features none other than the Man in White himself, Santa Claus. Photo opportunities are aplenty with the big guy and the big Christmas Tree too. And don’t forget the real main attractions: the polar animals that reside here all year long. This is a fabulous chance to get up close and personal with the polar bears, belugas and walruses that truly enhance the holiday festivities and join in the fun with each and every visitor.
If you weren’t sure about visiting SeaWorld for the holidays this year, this new just-for-the-season attraction should definitely change your mind. The Polar Express Experience will bring park guests right into the center of the holiday season, the North Pole.
