For most of December, the theme parks are open regular hours but as the month goes on, the hours expand along with the crowds.
Walt Disney World:

- Epcot has normal hours until Christmas Day: Future World closes at 7 p.m.; World Showcase is open until 9:30 p.m. when Illuminations begins. From the 25th through 30th, Future World will remain open until 9:30, and on New Year’s Eve the entire park is open until 1 a.m.
- MGM Studios is open until 8 p.m. every night through the December 23, then they close at 10 p.m. through the 30th and at midnight on the 31st.
- Animal Kingdom closes at 6 p.m. all month until December 23, when they stay open until 8 p.m. through the end of the month (and year!).
SeaWorld is open until 10 p.m. from December 26-30. On New Year’s Eve, they close at 1 a.m.
The Universal Orlando Resort, is taking the same route as Sea World. Both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios are staying open until 10 p.m. from December 26-30 and close at 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
