Take a deep breath once you’re strapped in to The Incredible Hulk Coaster, because it’s the last one you’re going to get for more than 2 minutes. Zero to 40 in 2 seconds flat – that’s your introduction to this green monster. Then you climb to 150-feet, experience 7 inversions, 2 tunnel trenches and speeds of almost 70 mph. Don’t eat before you ride this one.
Dueling Dragons® at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is the first inverted, side-by-side roller coaster in the world. This isn’t just a roller coaster, though. Dueling Dragons is two roller coasters! The two warring tracks offer separate and unique ride experiences reaching speeds of up to 55 mph and going as high as 125 feet into the air.
These dueling demons – Fire and Ice – take you on an inexplicable ride that includes a zero g-roll, a cobra roll, corkscrews, vertical loops and seemingly countless inversions. Three times during this “aerial combat,” Dragon riders come within 18-inches of their coaster foes on the opposite track! Whew…that was close.
Not to be left out of the picture, Universal Studios Florida has a unique coaster experience you won’t want to miss. Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride takes you inside where you’re immersed in total darkness. Racing at speeds up to 45 miles per hour, you confront fireballs, scarab beetles (eeew!) and an army of warrior mummies.
