Before you step in front of the audience at CityWalk’s Rising Star, you are formally introduced by a real live emcee! And the star treatment doesn’t end there. At CityWalk’s Rising Star, your karaoke performance is enhanced by a full-live band and back-up singers to elevate your star power.

You won’t find a broken down computer pumping out stale old songs on some souped-up home-stereo speakers at CityWalk’s Rising Star. No. CityWalk’s Rising Star has a brand new, state-of-the-art sound system for maximum amplification of your karaoke crooning. Throughout the club, flat panel monitors showcase your talent to audience members, who can sing along with the song lyrics on the screen too.

CityWalk’s Rising Star is open nightly from 8 p.m.-2 a.m., and you must be over 21 years old every night except Thursday, when you have to be at least 18. There is a cover charge of $7 for admission, no charge to sing, and a Universal ticket is not required.
