The most famous SeaWorld icon is undoubtedly Shamu, and the Splash Zone at the Shamu Show is the hottest spot to keep cool. Usually somewhere in the first few rows, the Splash Zone is a certain seating section where the audience is sure to get wet. Shamu always seems to have a special surprise waiting for his Splash Zone friends, and the soaking keeps you cool for hours.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #2 – The Wild Arctic
Nothing says refreshment on a beastly hot Orlando summer day like a tour through the arctic north. Besides cooling you down, The Wild Arctic gives you a chance to visit with cool creatures like polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. A few minutes inside here and you won’t even remember it’s summer outside.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #3 – The Penguin Encounter
The Arctic isn’t the only chilly place to visit on a hot day at Sea World Orlando. The Penguin Encounter is just as cool, and the penguins are even cooler. The Penguin Encounter is home to several different species of penguin, including the king penguin, which can grow to be nearly 4-feet tall! Even if you weren’t looking for some cold air, you would still want to watch them for hours.

Journey to Atlantis is one of the best log flume rides in the world, because it is not just a water ride. It’s an aquarium too. So while you are floating, plunging and getting soaked, you will see some fishes too.

SeaWorld has two sister parks in Orlando, and both of them offer crisp and cool opportunities to chill out this summer. Aquatica by SeaWorld is Orlando’s newest water park and is a great way to spend a hot summer day. Discovery Cove is just across the street, and it is an oasis, a true paradise for anyone looking to beat the heat on their Orlando vacation.
