2009 is almost gone and with it goes plenty of great Orlando theme park events. But that only means we’ll have brand new events to talk to you about, and we’ve just discovered a great event coming up for both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld in 2010! These two parks are guest favorites in the Central Florida area. SeaWorld isn’t only a marine life park but it’s an actual research institute as well that rescues and breeds marine animals. You can enjoy beautiful dolphins, seals, fish and the popular Wild Arctic exhibit that features penguins and polar bears. With a variety of shows featuring their mascot, Shamu the killer whale, and kid friendly shows featuring the friendly characters of Sesame Street, SeaWorld is always fun to visit.

Busch Gardens, SeaWorld’s Tampa Bay theme park sister, doesn’t exactly have the marine life SeaWorld does, but there is still plenty to explore including great animal habitats with beautiful Bengal tigers and petting zoos for the little ones. We also can’t leave out one very important fact: both of these parks have amazing roller coasters! SeaWorld has the brand new Manta, a Manta Ray-themed roller coaster that has you gliding through the air on your belly, bringing you as close to flying as you could ever be! Over at Busch Gardens you can also ride SheiKra for another coaster-enthusiast favorite.

Those of you that love nothing more than a great barbecue with excellent music and a cold beer will want to plan a trip to Central Florida in February of 2010. Both parks will be hosting their Bands, Beers and BBQ party from February 7th, 2010 to February 28th. On Saturdays, musicians will be playing live concerts at SeaWorld and on Sunday the concerts will be held at Busch Gardens. The best part is the concerts are free with your admission to the parks! You have to purchase the food and beer on your own, but it’s still well worth it. Some of the stars that have already been announced include LeAnn Rimes and the legendary Willie Nelson. Make sure you come to Central Florida next February to escape the snow and enjoy some great music at our awesome theme parks.
