SeaWorld Refreshes With Tropical Drinks
Orlando theme parks are known for many things; thrill rides, holiday events, parades, shows, contests and more but there’s one thing they’ve been missing, a nice cold drink on a hot summer day. Until now. Both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have recently introduced tropical drinks into their line-up of fun treats adult guests can indulge in. Now that Anheuser Busch is out of the equation, guests are finding more options to sip on besides just beer, beer, and more beer.
From strawberry daiquiris to margaritas and pina coladas, these two popular theme parks have begun to include delicious tastes into their repertoire of alcoholic drinks. But the process is rather slow so far. If you’re looking for a refreshing drink at SeaWorld after you ride the Manta or visit Shamu you’ll have to take a bit of a walk to wet your whistle. There are only a few places within the park that offer these drinks including in front of the Sea Lion and Otter Stadium, Captain Pete’s (in the park’s Key West section), the Terrace Bar, the Sharks Bar and the Sand Bar so make sure you plan your drinking accordingly. We’re still not quite sure of the locations of bars in Busch Gardens, but rest assured if SeaWorld is doing it so is Busch Gardens!
Prices are fairly reasonable too: $5.99 for a good-sized drink and for a few bucks more you can get a souvenir glass if you’d like.
For those of you who prefer beer to a pina colada, don’t worry, both parks are still serving the frothy beverage at several locations throughout.
As for other Busch Gardens and SeaWorld news, stay tuned for more information on upcoming fall activities. Now that SeaWorld’s After Dark event and Busch Gardens Summer Nights event have come to a close, you can be sure both parks are already preparing their fall lineup. And with Halloween just a few months away, get ready for some spooks and thrill rides only available for the candy holiday.
So far we know, or we think we know the theme for Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream and it looks as though it’s going to revolve around a rock concert. We’re not sure how this will play into the scary event but we’re confident Busch Garden’s will continue to thrill us for this month-long event. Unfortunately that’s all we really know and we hope to hear more in September as the holiday gets closer.
Until then enjoy your new tropical drinks but please use your judgment and remember to drink responsibly when inside either Busch Gardens or SeaWorld.
Cheers!
