Save some time on your next Walt Disney World ® vacation by getting a FASTPASS to the attractions with the historically longest lines. No matter if you visit in high or low season, you might want to plan out your Fastpass distribution priority. There are certain rides in all four parks that guests just can’t get enough of and will wait to get a chance to experience it, no matter the wait time. We’ve observed Disney World traffic, and Orlando Fun Tickets has put together a list of the top must have FASTPASSES to ensure you experience all of Disney’s ® magic.
Toy Story Mania – Disney’s Hollywood Studios ® - Toy Story Mania has the most sought after FASTPASS in Walt Disney World ®. If you want to grab a FASTPASS for Toy Story Mania, which you should because you’re typically looking at 60+ minutes, you need to do this one early. As soon as you enter, make your way to Toy Story Mania, and you’ll be lucky if you receive a distribution time for the early afternoon. This attraction has been known to be out of Fasspasses as early as noon. And on busy days, you could spend 2 hours in the regular line.
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid – Magic Kingdom ® - Nowadays, Disney’s New Fantasyland is a big draw for many visitors, and it’s easily the busiest area of the park. The Journey of the Little Mermaid is one of the few rides in New Fantasyland that offer the Fastpass service, and you should take advantage of it. Dumbo the Flying Elephant has a Fastpass station as well, but your kids might want to wait and play in the new play area that you don’t get to try out if you use a FASTPASS.
Splash Mountain – Magic Kingdom ® - By far one of the most popular rides in Disney ®, Splash Mountain requires a FASTPASS just about every time you’re at the park. People from far and wide come to experience this flume ride in Frontierland that takes you on a wild rabbit chase through “Slippin’ Falls” and down a 52-foot waterfall drop at speeds of 40 miles per hour. It’s both a thrill ride and relaxing show at the same time. Adding to its appeal is the possibility of getting splashed with cool water on your way down the waterfall. On a hot day in Florida, this is welcomed and the ride is jam-packed. Splash Mountain is currently under refurbishment and will reopen March 19th.
Space Mountain – Magic Kingdom ® - The oldest operating roller coaster in Florida, it’s no wonder why Space Mountain is so popular. Plus, it’s not your typical roller coaster. Located in a galaxy far, far away riders will board a rocket and take a wild journey into space to marvel at the bright stars in the atmosphere and feel what it’s like to speed through the mysterious environment of space. And on a busy day, it’s still one of the longest lines in the park, but there are new interactive games to play while in the regular queue.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Staring Aerosmith – Disney’s Hollywood Studios ® - Another popular roller coaster at Disney ® Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is a rockin’ good time and without a doubt worthy of a FASTPASS. That’s because this coaster has one of the fastest launch times, 0 to 57 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds and not only twists, turns, drops, and whirls guests through an exhilarating track that includes freeways, highways and buildings from L.A. but it also blasts popular Aerosmith songs like “Love in an Elevator,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” and many more into your limo ride vehicle. Plus, before you even jam your way through the ride you’ll get to meet Aerosmith during a recording session.
Test Track – Epcot ® - The newly updated Test Track at Epcot ® now gives guests the opportunity to create their own high-octane vehicle and put it to the test to see if it has what it takes to compete against other race cars. With a new state-of-the-art facility, exhibits featuring the latest Chevrolet technology and a new design center where visitors can tap into their creativity, Test Track is sure to become one of the busiest attractions in Epcot ®.
