SeaWorld Holiday Magic!!!!

SeaWorld is one of the most beloved marine life parks in the world. Not only does it provide amazing entertainment and great roller coasters, it’s also home to the famous killer whale Shamu and a wildlife research institute that has saved many animals, helped propagate endangered species and come up with new technology to help marine life that is sick. Shamu and SeaWorld go hand in hand, the killer whale is the ultimate symbol of the beautiful park---but do you ever think of SeaWorld and Christmas? It’s kind of hard to imagine having a winter wonderland in a park that focuses on the animals of the ocean or any of the Orlando theme parks, but every holiday season SeaWorld transforms into a holiday experience people of all ages can enjoy.

It starts off with an incredible Christmas tree that reaches high into the sky at 32 feet. There are garlands and twinkling Christmas lights that surround the park and reflect off the lake, truly making the park experience magical. At night the guests can enjoy the Waterfront Christmas stroll. You’ll hear wonderful live holiday music as you walk by beautiful lights and decorations on your way to meet Santa Shamu and take a special holiday picture.

But the experience that brings the most holiday magic to Sea World has to be The Polar Express Experience. Just like the beloved story, which was awarded the prestigious Caldecott Medal, The Polar Express Experience will transport your kids to the North Pole where they will get to meet Santa Claus himself. The park’s Wild Arctic section will welcome kids to a North Pole full of adorable walruses, polar bears and beluga whales for an experience they’ll never forget!

If you would rather experience the holidays in the islands, you can also stop by the Makahiki Christmas Luau. Experience a Polynesian feast, hula and fire dancing all infused with a holiday twist as the classic SeaWorld attraction gets into the holiday spirit. The holiday fun begins November 13th at SeaWorld Orlando and runs all the way until January 3rd. The Polar Express Experience and the Makahiki Christmas Luau are just a few of the great holiday activities SeaWorld Orlando has in store. Stay tuned for more!

Sesame Street Character Breakfasts at SeaWorld

Character breakfasts are always a fun experience at the Orlando theme parks. All of the walking around the parks works up an appetite. If you are travelling with little ones you may miss some of their favorite characters while walking from one end of the park to the other. During the summertime, when the heat in Florida is completely unforgiving, being able to continue the park experience inside climate-controlled environment is the best feeling. One park many people may not think of when looking for character dining experiences is SeaWorld. But this beautiful marine life park has some great character dining experiences featuring the characters of Sesame Street.

The character dining experiences are at breakfast time, so no sleeping in if you want to meet characters like Elmo and friends! The dining experiences are private buffets two times a day. The first sitting is at 8:30 and the last is at 10:30. All of the experiences are held at the SeaFire Inn at the Waterfront. Park admission is required but not included with the special dining experience, so make sure you get your discount SeaWorld tickets before booking your experience. The buffet meals usually consist of French Toast, bacon, eggs, bagels, seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt, biscuits, gravy and Chef-carved ham. Various juices and coffee are available to drink. If you have any specific food allergies, you can ask a manager at the restaurant to prepare the appropriate food for you.

Throughout the year you can attend the Breakfast with Elmo and Friends dining experience. Make sure to bring your camera because you won’t want to miss an adorable moment with Elmo and your little ones. For Halloween there’s a special dining event with Count von Count. If you’re visiting SeaWorld during October you can check out Count von Count’s Halloween Spooktacular breakfast. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet alongside Count von Count, Elmo and other Sesame Street characters as they pose with you for photo opportunities. SeaWorld is currently holding their Halloween Spooktacular, which is a great kid-friendly Halloween event everyone can enjoy without worrying about gore or inappropriate subject matter. The next time you’re in SeaWorld Orlando check out these great dining experiences!

New SeaWorld Tour Gives Guests The Best Seat in the House

If you have ever wished you can get up close and personal with the beautiful animals of the SeaWorld Orlando attraction, then you will love the park’s newest tour; the Animal Shows and Photo Experience. This tour will give your group the opportunity to experience the best of SeaWorld’s shows and exhibits with your own personal tour guide and a slew of perks that only those participating in the tour will receive.

The tour is 4.5 hours long and open to visitors of all ages. You will get priority seating for the best shows SeaWorld has to offer including Shamu’s Believe, the Blue Horizons dolphin show and the comedy favorite Clyde and Seamore. If you’ve never been to the gorgeous marine life attraction, here are some of the shows you’ll get to see from the best seat in the house.

If you’re a fan of pirates and adventures on the high seas, then Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island will be right up your alley. The comedy duo show revolves around Clyde and Seamore, two pirates searching for buried treasure after their pirate ship is left stranded on an island. The real hijinx start when SeaWorld’s loveable walrus, sea lions and otters join in on the fun for laughs the whole family will enjoy.

The Blue Horizons dolphin show is a gorgeous, Cirque du Soleil-like experience that is a must during your day at SeaWorld. Gorgeous dolphins and false killer whales swim and jump along to a soundtrack of beautiful music as macaws and sun conures soar through the sky. Stunt actors dressed in costumes evoking the spirit of mythological animals join in with stunning wire-work performances.

SeaWorld’s mascot, Shamu, stars in the wonderful adventure Shamu’s Believe. Join the beautiful killer whale and her SeaWorld trainers as they show the incredible abilities this famous orca has learned over the years. You will be amazed to see the relationship between this enormous animal and her human trainers during this emotional, classic show.

The Animal Shows and Photo Experience will give you reserved seating to all of the above performances. But the best part is, afterwards a SeaWorld guide will take professional photos of you and your guests with the animal stars of the shows. You’ll also get to head over to the Penguin Encounter exhibit for a personal interaction with one of the cute penguins, and later on head over to the Clydesdale Hamlet for a photo op with the unofficial mascot of the SeaWorld family; the elegant Clydesdale horse.

At the end of the tour, all of your photos will be handed to you on a photo CD so you can take your memories home with you. This tour is sure to be a big hit with the SeaWorld theme park, so make sure you check out OrlandoFunTickets.com’s Sea World deals to get in on the action.

SeaWorld Lights Up After Dark

Aside from bringing warmer temperatures, bigger crowds of tourists, and new roller coasters and attractions, summertime in Orlando also means extended theme park hours, particularly at SeaWorld. However, the extra hours are just one of the reasons why it’s currently one of the best times in the year to visit the aquatic theme park. From now through September 7, SeaWorld kicks up the fun a few notches every night with SeaWorld After Dark, consisting of special attractions and shows, an all-new fireworks spectacular, and other nighttime fun.

Rides, shows, dining, you name it – everything seems to get better when the sun goes down at SeaWorld. Normally, SeaWorld closes at 6 pm every evening, but now, the park will stay open until 10 pm with your favorite attractions staying open as well. And in addition to tried and true favorites like Kraken and the Shark Encounter, SeaWorld will feature new attractions at night.

Among them is Shamu Rocks, a spectacular rock n’ roll featuring everyone’s favorite killer whale at Shamu Stadium. A high-energy concert of unprecedented proportions, Shamu Rocks combines amazing moves from Shamu with a stunning light show and music from some of the hottest rock stars in the industry.

Up next is Sea Lions Tonight, featuring the park’s own comedic sea lion duo, Clyde and Seamore. These two will have you laughing into the night with their hilarious hijinks, which include recruiting SeaWorld’s talented sea lions, otters, and walruses to parody other favorite shows at the park. Clyde and Seamore perform twice nightly at the Sea Lion & Otter Stadium.

Finally, closing down SeaWorld After Dark each night at 9:50 pm is Reflections, a spectacular celebration of soaring fountains and dazzling fireworks. All other fountain shows are put to shame by this display of wonder, accompanied by the thrilling and inspirational music of SeaWorld’s most popular shows. Best yet, park guests will now be able to enjoy the show from front-row, comfortable seats at Bayside Stadium.

One of the best features of SeaWorld After Dark this year is also getting to ride Manta, the park’s newest roller coaster, in the dark. Though the ride is lit, of course, there’s a unique thrill in diving and looping through the nighttime sky headfirst. If you’ve experienced the ride over and over again during the day, we definitely recommend trying it with this fun twist.

In between seeing all the great shows and riding all the great coasters during SeaWorld After Dark, don’t forget to grab some dinner. The Makahiki Luau Dinner and Show is a particularly great option as guests will get to enjoy a Polynesian festival while they enjoy Pacific Isle cuisine. The park’s Seafire Inn becomes a tropical haven during the Luau, which serves up family-style entrees while entertaining with breathtaking fire dances and astounding costumes.

SeaWorld After Dark is definitely a great time to visit SeaWorld if you never have before, as you can get in squeeze in even more fun than you could on a regular park day. And there’s no extra fee for the extra hours and shows, so it’s an especially awesome deal. Check out discount SeaWorld tickets today to take advantage of it and enjoy some nighttime fun at SeaWorld.

Manta Opens Today!

Roller coaster lovers have been waiting all summer, and the day is finally here - the new high-flying, gliding attraction Manta has finally opened at SeaWorld! And if the long lines of peple waiting to ride the flying ray are any indication, then it's clear that Manta is already the must-experience ride of the summer.

The only flying roller coaster of its kind in the world, Manta is unique in that riders climb into what appear to be traditional seats and harnesses only to be rotated forward into a face-down position. Each coaster car is designed to look like a manta ray with a 12-foot wing span, so riders will literally ride on a manta's belly as it twists and soars above the ocean.

You'll want to hold on tight - and maybe say a prayer if you've recently eaten lunch - for Manta, which offers an intense ride in the first half and a smooth ride with breathtaking views in the second half. Though the coaster looks rather tame from the ground, riders will soar head-first at 56 mph through a track-twisting pretzel loop, in-line spins, and a close call with a waterfall that'll make you gasp. One of the most fun parts of the ride is the wing dip, where the coaster car flies sideways and seems to skim the water, sending up a spray.

As is the ride itself wasn't well-designed enough, it seamlessly blends with an awe-inspiring que area filled with up-close animal encounters. As they wait in line, guests will get to peer into ten aquariums filled with nearly 250,000 gallons of water and more than 3,000 marine animals.

For guests who might be too young or not thrill-loving enough to ride Manta, do check the now-open non-rider side of the aquarium, where guests can stick their heads into a 'pop-up' aquarium and come face-to-face with nearly 300 clownfish and mysterious sea anemones. Another highlight of the aquariums is a giant Pacific octopus, who slinks back and forth between habitats through an underwater tube.

On a funny side note, one of our staffers, Taylor Scott, got to ride Manta last evening as part of the media previews. He described to us the thrill of being strapped in and switched into horizontal position before the ride took off. To his dismay, however as the ride swoooped down into his first loop, his keys fell out of his pocket! He immediately began freaking out and couldn't even enjoy the rest of the ride, but as soon as he alerted Sea World employees, they immediately returned his keys to him.

Surprised, he queried them, "How'd you find it so fast?"

"Magic," they simply responded. "This isn't Walt Disney World, but we've got a little magic of our own here at Sea World."

When guests are soaring over the park in an experience that's probably the closest they'll ever come to flying - we'd say there's definitely something magical about that. Still, if you plan on riding Manta in the near future, you might want to use the lockers!

If you've ever dreamt of soaring through the air like a bird - or a manta ray - then you'll definitely want to check out Manta! Take a look at discount SeaWorld tickets on OrlandoFunTickets.com to begin a flight you'll never forget.

Celebrate Earth Month at SeaWorld & Busch Gardens

When Manta opens next month, one lucky person will get to be one of the first people to ride it - and for a good cause, at that. Earth Day is coming up next Wednesday, April 22, and SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens are inviting guests to celebrate it all month long with special events at both parks and a global online auction - which is auctioning off, among other things, first rides on the new roller coaster at SeaWorld.

By visiting auctionwire.com/savewildlife from now through April 30, guests will be able to find some wild deals and help wildlife at the same time. The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund along with American Express is sponsoring a global online auction to raise funds for animal rescue, habitat protection, and conservation education in the US around the world. Every dollar raised during this eco-friendly shopping event directly benefits wildlife and habitats.

Among the special experiences and gifts up for bid are one-of-a-kind paintings by Busch Gardens’ gorillas and orangutans, exotic animal meet and greets, a private lunch for two with Jack Hanna at SeaWorld, and various other items, such as travel packages, tickets to entertainment and sporting events, celebrity memorabilia, and much more. There’s even the opportunity to star in your own reality vacation show filmed by Spectrum Productions.

“Earth Month is a great time to raise awareness of animals, conservation and how we’re all connected,” said Ginny Busch, president of the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. “We hope during this time, guests will discover that even the smallest, everyday efforts can have a huge impact on the world we share.”

In addition, for every donation of $100 or more to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, the parks will match it dollar for dollar. Guests can make donations online or in person at the parks, where they’ll receive a complimentary eco-friendly tote bag as a thank you.

“With the current economy, all of us tighten our belts. But it’s still incredibly critical to keep protecting at-risk animals, people and places for the health of our environment and planet,” said Jim Atchison, president of Busch Entertainment Corporation. “We’re committed to contributing to conservation and invite our guests and the public to join us this Earth Month.”

As part of the Earth month celebrations, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens will also host fun and activities and events at both parks throughout April. There’ll be new up-close animal encounters, kid-friendly activities, special shows, and more. Wildlife experts Jack Hanna and Julie Scardina will also be making appearances; Hanna arrives at the park on April 26 and May 3.

So if you love the animals at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, make a positive contribution to creatures like them in the wild by bidding on one of the cool park items at the global auction or donating when you visit your favorite Busch Entertainment park. And don’t forget to check out the green fun happening all month long at the parks with SeaWorld tickets and Busch Gardens tickets from OrlandoFunTickets.com.

Viva La Musica Festival Spices Up SeaWorld

Sure, there might be spicy food and music going on over at Universal Studios with Mardi Gras. But as much as we might love performers like Kelly Clarkson and Pat Benatar, we’re not sure they have the stuff to really light stages on fire. At this time of year, there’s only one event that can claim to having hottest music, and that’s the Viva La Musica Festival at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, which is kicking off March with sultry salsa, moving meringue, and reggaeton rhythms.

From Saturday, March 7, to Sunday, March 29, this red-hot Hispanic festival will heat up both both parks with live entertainment from award-winning Latin artists. Each day will feature a concert along with a different performer, as well as plenty of Latin sabor (flavor) with popular Hispanic food available for purchase and authentic arts and crafts. The festival will begin at 11 am, with each concert beginning at 4 pm.

At SeaWorld, the Viva La Musica Festival will take place each Saturday, starting with a performance from El Gran Combo on March 7, who will thrill the crowds with their legendary Puerto-Rican flavored salsa. On March 14, Tito El Bambino will take the stage with his reggaeton hits. On March 21, the world renowned “Princess of Salsa,” La India, will perform salsa hits from her Grammy-award winning career. And on March 28, the festival will wrap up at SeaWorld with a concert from Fonseca.

At Busch Gardens, the Viva La Musica Festival will take place each Sunday, and El Gran Combo will return to launch the concert series on March 8. On March 15, Puerto Rican reggaeton duo and 2008 Viva La Musica Festival performers RKM & Ken-Y will take the stage. On March 22, the popular meringue group Grupomanía will perform. And the festival will conclude on March 29 with Columbian band Guayacan, who’ll perform exhilarating salsa songs.

Concert seating is available on a first-come, first served basis, so be sure to get to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens early for the best spot. While you’re dancing away to fiery beats and sampling tasty Latin fare, all your favorite park rides, shows, and attractions will still be open. So why not spice things up? Admission to Viva La Musica is free with regular SeaWorld tickets or Busch Gardens tickets, so simply get yours here at OrlandoFunTickets.com to be a part of the fun. One of the few festivals in the Orlando area (and the only one at an Orlando theme park) that embraces the Latin culture, Viva La Musica Festival is not to be missed.

Behind the Scenes at SeaWorld

If you know the layout of places like Walt Disney World without a map and can rattle off the attractions at Universal Studios without missing a beat, then chances are you’ve done your fair share of visiting Orlando theme parks. But what do you do when you feel like you’ve seen everything there is to be seen? At that point, you go behind the scenes at SeaWorld Orlando, where new tours provide one-of-a-kind experiences, wild adventures, and a side of the park we guarantee you’ve never encountered before.

An addition to the park that started at the beginning of the year, the new Behind the Scenes Tour gives guests a glimpse at what happens under the water at SeaWorld. The tour is led by a knowledgeable guide, who’ll provide fascinating facts about the park and its commitment to wildlife.

On the tour, guests will learn about how SeaWorld’s animal experts care for rescued manatees and sea turtles, they’ll explore one of the hidden polar bear dens in the Wild Arctic, and they’ll separate shark fact from fiction before interacting with a small shark in a private area of Shark Encounter. And that’s not all – the Behind the Scenes tour will take guests into some areas that regular park guests never get to see, such as the special Avian Research Building. There, guest will be able to meet and touch one of the park’s penguin inhabitants. The tour also takes guests on a tram through SeaWorld’s back road, which winds right underneath the massive Kraken.

The Behind the Scenes tour is best suited for guests ages 5 and up, and 10% of the admission will be donated to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund to support research projects around the world. With 90 minutes of SeaWorld fun and animals you wouldn’t see otherwise, it’s definitely a worthwhile variation from the normal activities and attractions available at the park.

And if you love animals, you should definitely check out some of the other tours the park has to offer. For example, the Penguin Spotlight Tour is especially fun for those who are passionate about penguins and eager to learn more about these unique and funny birds. A 60-minute walking tour, Penguin Spotlight takes guests behind the scenes of the Penguin Encounter to hear from SeaWorld’s animal experts and learn about how they care for the penguins. Guests will also get to see a puffin up close and interact with some adorable penguins.

Similarly, the Dolphin Spotlight Tour is the way to go if you love these happy-go-lucky creatures. Also a 60-minute walking tour, the Dolphin Spotlight takes guests backstage at Whale and Dolphin Stadium to discover what it takes to care for and train the stars of SeaWorld’s Blue Horizons show. Then, guests will get to test their skills as a trainer and get up close with a dolphin.

If you’ve seen every attraction at SeaWorld or you simply want to go all out when you visit this unique park, the Behind the Scenes tours are definitely the way to go. The tours all require separate admission to the park, but that’s easy – you can simply score your discount SeaWorld tickets here at OrlandoFunTickets.com. After getting friendly with a shark, a penguin, and a dolphin, you’ll discover one little known truth about Orlando theme parks like SeaWorld and Aquatica – there’s always something new to see.

Sneak Peek of SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Bud & BBQ

When the weather starts to warm up here in Florida, so does the entertainment at Orlando theme parks. Over at Universal Studios Orlando, the park is gearing up with its Mardi Gras: Let the Music Move You celebration, which is sure to offer three months of fun with a rockin’ lineup of star performers. However, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay aren’t content to be left behind – they’re putting on a Rockin’, Smokin’, Saucy, and Sweet party of their own with the 2009 Bud & BBQ at both parks. And we’ve got a special sneak peek on the entertainment for this event, which is sure to be an amazing rival to Universal Studios’ Mardi Gras as well as an additional fun option for vacationers.

Bud & BBQ will take over SeaWorld and Busch Gardens each weekend from February 7th through March 1st. The event will present a zesty lineup of live performances by award-winning country and classic rock artists, with concerts every Saturday at SeaWorld and concerts every Sunday at Busch Gardens.

At SeaWorld Orlando, the Bud & BBQ will kick off with a concert from Blake Shelton on February 7. Kenny Rogers will perform his classic hits on February 14 for a romantic and fun Valentine’s Day. Darryl Hall and John Oates will hit the stages on February 21, and Jason Aldean will perform on February 28.

At Busch Gardens Tampa, guests will enjoy the stylings of Phil Vassar with opening act Josh Gracin on February 8, Gretchen Wilson on February 15, Miranda Lambert on February 22, and Greg Allman on March 1.

In addition to great, live music, both 2009 Bud & BBQ’s will feature plenty of blazing barbecue and ice-cold Budweiser beer. It might also be one of the last times guests will be able to enjoy refreshing brews like Budweiser and Bud Light at the parks. The new owner of Busch Entertainment, AB In-Bev, is looking to sell off the theme park division of the company, separating it from its long-time association with the American beer producer, Anheuser-Busch. Therefore, this year’s Bud & BBQ will be a particularly special, can’t-miss event.

So get ready for smokin’ hot food and fired-up music during the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens’ Bud & BBQ. It’s a great way to enjoy your favorite theme parks thrills, exhibits, and attractions along with some sizzling fun. Best yet, each concert is included with admission to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens, so there’s no excuse for missing out. Start planning your spicy theme park adventure by scoring discount SeaWorld and Busch Gardens tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com.

Last Call for Beer as SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Hospitality Center Closes

As part of one of the longest-standing traditions at the park, guests of SeaWorld Orlando have almost always been able to enjoy a free brew at the Hospitality House. A result of being owned by the makers of Budweiser, Michelob, Busch, and other beers, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens have offered free tastings of the American beers for years. Sadly, that tradition will soon come to an end in February when the Hospitality House, in addition to other “brewmaster clubs” and hospitality centers at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, will close.

According to a recent announcement, Busch Entertainment (the division of Anheuser-Busch InBev that operates SeaWorld and Busch Gardens) will be closing down the hospitality centers on February 1st and converting them into new facilities. The timing of their reopening will vary from park to park, but Busch Garden’s Hospitality House will close briefly and reopen with a new café-style menu. The Hospitality House at SeaWorld, meanwhile, will be closed for a longer period of time while it’s converted into a restaurant.

Reportedly, the facilities will be redesigned to expand their appeal across age groups, though guests of drinking age will still be able to purchase beer at these locations when they reopen. According to AB InBev, all employees affected by the closures will remain with the company.

The move to end free beer tasting comes as a result of Anheusher Busch’s recent merge with Belgian brewer InBev, forming the new mega-brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev. The consensus is that AB InBev ended the tastings in order to make the Orlando-based theme-park division easier to sell, since any buyer of the parks would likely have little interesting in continuing to promote the beers. In addition, closing the hospitality centers now would ensure that a new buyer wouldn’t have to take that step, which has certainly been unwelcome by park fans. The one hope among SeaWorld and Busch Gardens lovers is that current economic conditions will undoubtedly continue to make it difficult for AB InBev to find a buyer.

At the Hospitality House at SeaWorld, guests can sample a few of the signature beverages while feasting on food pairings at the Brewmaster’s Club. The center is also a place where visitors could explore the history of Anheuser Busch through a century’s worth of memorabilia, tracing the company’s roots from a small Midwestern brewery to the biggest brewery in the world. The SeaWorld Hospitality House opened on March 1st, 1992, three years after Anheuser-Busch bought the park. Busch Garden’s center has an even longer history, having been opened along with the park in 1959.

Given this latest news, there’s certainly no better time than the present to visit SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and experience a park tradition before it closes. The beer will taste even better when you save on discount SeaWorld tickets and discount Busch Gardens tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com.

Holiday Hot Spots: Sleeping at SeaWorld and Taping at Disney

With all the incredible holiday attractions to choose from at Orlando theme parks, the decision of where to spend your Orlando vacation can be a hard one. We at OrlandoFunTickets.com are committed to making your decision just a teeny bit harder with every blog as we continue premiering all the hottest holiday events and celebrations. In that spirit, here are some more holiday hot spots that we think are particularly neat and a fun treat for your family this season.

Over at SeaWorld Orlando, the park will soon be holding one of their frequent sleepover events, during which the whole family can learn about marine wildlife while snuggling up in the actual animal exhibits. With the Frosty Friends Sleepover, your family will specifically be getting cozy with animals from the Arctic and Antartic, and you’ll all be camping out on sleeping bags in the Penguin Encounter area.

This cool overnight adventure includes seasonal games and activities, animal interaction, a pizza dinner, and a continental breakfast. This overnight adventure will take place from December 4th into December 5th, and the sleepover can be packaged with next-day entry into SeaWorld for extra fun and savings. Be sure to reserve the sleepover early, as this event happens only a few times a year at SeaWorld and is an experience to remember.

And over at Walt Disney World, we’ve gotten word that the taping of the Christmas Day Parade at Magic Kingdom will be open to all visitors of the park this year. In past years, tickets for reserved sections of Main Street, USA and the areas in front of the castle were released in the beginning of November and scooped up immediately by eager fans. This year, the parade will reportedly take place on December 5th and 6th, and the word is that anyone with a regular admission ticket to the park will be able to be a bystander in the parade and watch amid the insanely crowded Main Street, space permitting.

The first day of taping will likely take place in front of Cinderella Castle, while the second day will probably film on Main Street. Though it’s fun to see, be warned that the taping is a lengthy process, since the parade/shows are often stopped and restarted in order for cameras to get all the material and angles that they need. Kids who aren’t patient enough to wait should probably pass up on this one. Nevertheless, the parade is an incredible annual special that includes appearances from all your favorite Disney characters, along with floats carrying celebrities, musical performances, marching bands from various schools and communities all over the country, and previews of shows and attractions at Disney theme parks.

This year, the two-hour television special will feature performances by Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu, American Idol winner David Cook, the cast of Broadway’s Mary Poppins, Sarah Brightman, the stars of Playhouse Disney’s Imagination Movers, and more. The Jonas Brothers will also appear in the Christmas Day Parade, but their segment was already taped in Disneyland Resort in California. This year’s special will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa will reprise their role as hosts.

In order to catch all the holiday fun, be sure to get your discount SeaWorld tickets and discount Disney tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com. We won’t tell you which fun holiday activity to choose – only that no matter which one it is, you’re bound to have a great time.

Christmas Fun Begins at SeaWorld

Though Thanksgiving has not even passed yet, that is no excuse not to partake in some early holiday fun. And where else can you start the season but at Orlando’s many theme parks? SeaWorld Orlando, for example, has got the right idea, with special Christmas attractions they’ve started featuring that are sure to get visitors excited for the holidays. Starting November 12th, head to SeaWorld to enjoy a special holiday celebration South Seas-style, as the Makahiki Christmas Luau rolls into the park. Then, enjoy the wonder of a special holiday show as well as holiday-themed decorations around the park.

With the Makahiki Christmas Luau, families can enjoy a different kind of holiday attraction as the spirit of the South Seas combines with SeaWorld fun for a unique and festive celebration. Visitors will taste succulent island cuisine in a bountiful Polynesian feast as they learn about the ancient holiday traditions of the Pacific Islands. Music is also aplenty, as joyful holiday songs remixed with Polynesian rhythms fill the air. There’s a special rendition of “O Holy Night,” as well as authentic costumes, dances, and fire-twirlers. It’s a fantastic, fiery show that celebrates man’s coexistence with the earth and sea.

One of the best parts about the Makihiki Christmas Luau is that you don’t need to purchase regular admission tickets to enjoy it. Nevertheless, you’ll want to score some discount SeaWorld tickets from OrlandoFunTickets.com in order to check out Shamu’s Christmas Miracles, a merry holiday show with your favorite black and white Orca. Shamu’s Christmas Miracles features live musical performances with some of your favorite Christmas songs, videos of children and adults talking about their life miracles, and plenty of special Shamu excitement.

After you see Shamu in all his glory, take a stroll around SeaWorld’s lake and through the Waterfront to experience the park’s new winter-wonderland look. Among the gift shops and restaurants, glistening snow fills the air each evening along with lots of holiday cheer. You might even see jolly old St. Nick, who’ll be more than willing to hear your child’s Christmas wish. And while you’re in the neighborhood, check out all the new holiday gear in the shops. They’re a great place to find the perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for person.

And while you’re in the neighborhood, definitely check out “Christmastide, a special holiday fountain show where streams of water dance to the sounds of your favorite Christmas tunes. Normally, the SeaWorld parks close at 6 pm, but during the holidays, they stay open for an extra hour. So before the park closes, you’ll definitely want your last stop to be this watery spectacular that’s a marvel for the whole family. With plenty of colorful lights and high-shooting water, it’s a great way to cap off a day of holiday fun at SeaWorld.

There’s no doubt that SeaWorld turns into a holiday fun-land this time of year, and it’s definitely a must-stop for anyone who’s never seen the park’s Christmas festivities before. And though it might seem like it’s too early to be enjoying Christmas fun, consider this; you’ll see significantly less crowds at these Christmas attractions before Thanksgiving than you will afterwards. And besides – it’s really never too early to get in the Christmas spirit.

All Aboard the Polar Express at SeaWorld

You know the holiday season is coming on when all the parks begin to feature special attractions and decorations designed to get its visitors into the holiday spirit. There is no place like the Orlando theme parks to enjoy one-of-a-kind holiday entertainment, and though it’s hard to believe the season is here already, SeaWorld Orlando is gearing up for the return of the Polar Express Experience, which debuted last year.

The Polar Express Experience, based on the 2004 animated film, takes riders on an amazing journey into the North Pole. From November 14th through January 4th, 2009, the simulator that takes riders on a wild helicopter ride through the Arctic will transform into an unforgettable train ride into the fabled Santa Town. With laughs, exciting thrills, and animal encounters, the Polar Express Experience will make believers out of anyone.

The ride starts with a three-minute preshow explaining the film’s backstory. Just before midnight on Christmas Eve, a little boy is lying awake in his bed, straining to listen for the sound of sleigh bells. Suddenly, he hears the roar of a train outside his window – it’s the Polar Express, arriving to take him on a wild adventure to the North Pole.

With a resounding train whistle, riders climb aboard the Polar Express to share in on the boy’s journey. They experience classic scenes from the movie, recreated with special lighting, scent, sounds, and motion effects. Guests will swear they’re actually on the Express, feeling the rush of the train as it moves and the feeling of ice crumbling beneath them.

The Polar Express Experience is a wild ride that doesn’t stop when the train stops; at the end of the journey, riders step off the train and into the North Pole! They will smell Christmas cookies in the air, see bright lights twinkle on a towering Christmas tree, and witness first-hand all the elements of Santa’s village – including jolly St. Nick himself. Families will get to greet Santa and enjoy a magical Christmas moment. Guests will also get to meet the animal inhabitants of the North Pole, including graceful beluga whales, large polar bears, and ambling walruses.

The Polar Express Experience isn’t the only fun to be had at SeaWorld during the holiday season though. After the ride, be sure to catch a festive holiday show, Shamu Christmas … Miracles. From November 12th through December 30th, Shamu Stadium will brighten with lights and candles for a festive night of full of Christmas carols, a gospel choir, and special moves and splashes by Shamu. There’s also Christmastide, a spectacular holiday fountain show with water, light, and merry Christmas sounds. And don’t forget to take in the sights and sounds of the Waterfront, which turns into a winter scene with snow and holiday decorations.

So if you’re feeling a little blue and need a pick-me-up to get into the holiday season, head down to SeaWorld for an adventure into the North Pole and spectacular holiday shows that will get you counting down to Christmas like a kid again. And look no further than OrlandoFunTickets.com for the discount SeaWorld tickets that will get you there. Keep checking our blog in the next two months for more holiday attractions that will delight and enchant your holiday spirit. There’s no place like Orlando for the holidays!

Ten Non-Theme Park Things To Do On Your Orlando Vacation

Every Orlando vacation means hitting the most popular theme parks in the world: the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort; Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure at the Universal Orlando Resort; and SeaWorld or even Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay.

But Orlando theme parks are only part of the action you can enjoy on your Orlando vacation. Here are ten Orlando vacation activities that don’t require Orlando theme park tickets:

  1. Take a boat ride. There are options at several Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort hotels. Or for a real adventure, speed through an airboat outing in Kissimmee.
  2. Visit the petting zoo or go on a horseback riding trip at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
  3. Shop and stroll along the water at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. While you’re there, take a tour of Disney’s Boardwalk and Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.
  4. Do some dining and dancing at one of Universal CityWalk’s hot nightclubs. Not into the bar scene? Grab a bite and catch a flick – Universal has a movie theater too!
  5. Relive history at the Kennedy Space Center, less than an hour from Orlando.
  6. Join the locals at an area flea market. There are two air-conditioned indoor flea markets just a few miles from Disney on U.S. 192 in Kissimmee. A little further away, you can choose from a few traditional outdoor flea markets too.
  7. Drive on Florida’s most famous beach in Daytona Beach, which is only about an hour’s drive away from Orlando.
  8. Take in an Orlando dinner show like Medieval Times or Arabian Nights, and get a huge bargain on your Orlando dinner show tickets when you get them right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com (along with your Disney tickets, Universal tickets and Sea World tickets too, of course.)
  9. Get great deals at one of Orlando’s outlet malls, Belz Outlet near the Universal Orlando Resort, or the Premium Outlet near SeaWorld.
  10. Visit Celebration, Florida, a small community just a few miles from Walt Disney World that began as a Disney-owned residential neighborhood. It has since grown into a full fledged city, but it still has that Disney charm – not to mention a thriving old-time downtown where you will find delicious dining options, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor and even a Starbucks.

How to Beat the Heat at SeaWorld Orlando

If SeaWorld Orlando is on your summer vacation list of places to visit, you will be looking for ways to beat the Orlando heat. Temperatures on a typical Orlando summer day reach into the upper 90s, and the humidity is up there too. There are generally thunderstorms every afternoon, and that does cool things off, but not much.

SeaWorld Orlando is a great summer vacation spot because it’s full of places to beat the heat. Here’s a few of our favorites:

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #1 – The Splash Zone

The most famous SeaWorld icon is undoubtedly Shamu, and the Splash Zone at the Shamu Show is the hottest spot to keep cool. Usually somewhere in the first few rows, the Splash Zone is a certain seating section where the audience is sure to get wet. Shamu always seems to have a special surprise waiting for his Splash Zone friends, and the soaking keeps you cool for hours.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #2 – The Wild Arctic
Nothing says refreshment on a beastly hot Orlando summer day like a tour through the arctic north. Besides cooling you down, The Wild Arctic gives you a chance to visit with cool creatures like polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. A few minutes inside here and you won’t even remember it’s summer outside.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #3 – The Penguin Encounter
The Arctic isn’t the only chilly place to visit on a hot day at Sea World Orlando. The Penguin Encounter is just as cool, and the penguins are even cooler. The Penguin Encounter is home to several different species of penguin, including the king penguin, which can grow to be nearly 4-feet tall! Even if you weren’t looking for some cold air, you would still want to watch them for hours.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #4 – Journey to Atlantis
Journey to Atlantis is one of the best log flume rides in the world, because it is not just a water ride. It’s an aquarium too. So while you are floating, plunging and getting soaked, you will see some fishes too.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #5 – Beyond the Gates
SeaWorld has two sister parks in Orlando, and both of them offer crisp and cool opportunities to chill out this summer. Aquatica by SeaWorld is Orlando’s newest water park and is a great way to spend a hot summer day. Discovery Cove is just across the street, and it is an oasis, a true paradise for anyone looking to beat the heat on their Orlando vacation.

How to have fun at Disney for under $ 200 a day

There are lots of way to keep your vacation plans to Central Florida at a cheap rate in fact, you can see Walt Disney World for under $200 a day if you stick to some simple cost-saving tips. For starters, keeping your costs low and your savings high begins none other than right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com, the largest discounted ticket store in Orlando! Here, you can purchase tickets to all of the top attractions in Central Florida, including the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, Sea World, other local attractions and dinner shows, at a deeply discounted price. And, with multiple ticket packages available and either delivery or pick-up options, you are sure to find everything you are looking for – and more – right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com.

Speaking of tickets, it is also important to note that the larger ticket package your purchase, the cheaper your per-day price will be in the parks. If you plan on only going to the parks for a few days, you can expect to pay more for each day than if you bought a ticket package that included tickets for a week or more. Another way to keep costs down is to purchase a Magic Your Way base ticket package, which allows you to see only one park per day. These are certainly more cost effective than the Magic Your Way park hopper ticket or the Magic Your Way park hopper with the water park and other add-ons, but it still may be worth the extra investment to fork over a few extra dollars to give you and your family more options for your vacation if you would like to skip from park to park during the day and are also interested in the other Disney attractions, such as the two water parks, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park and Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.

Another way to keep your family from having to shell out too much money on any given day is to find ways to eat anywhere other than in the parks. You should always have breakfast in your room (Walt Disney World Resort hotels can have a refrigerator placed in your room for only a small fee, and that fee is waived if you have any medications that need to be refrigerated), so it is a good idea to go grocery shopping at one of the nearby stores when you get here for items, or bring them from home with you. If you do want to stay in the parks for lunchtime, then save your dinner meal for one of the local restaurants around town if you have your own transportation. Also, avoid the sit-down restaurants at Disney, as those tend to be more expensive, as do character meals. If you do not have your own transportation and will be eating at Disney all three meals a day, whether it is in your hotel or at a park, you will probably want to strongly consider the Disney Dining Plan, which allows each person in your party one table service meal, one quick service meal and one snack per day at select restaurants all over property for one set price. As you can see, however, you will still need to account for one meal on your own, so you can still plan on eating breakfast in each morning with something simple like doughnuts or bagels and fruit (or cereal and orange juice if you have the fridge!). Also, even though you have one snack allowed on the Disney Dining Plan, always have snacks and even empty water bottles to fill with water from the fountains handy, as a simple snack for the whole family in the parks can add up quickly but can be avoided if you have granola bars or other snacks stored in a backpack and with you at all times.

It is also a good idea to set a budget for each person per day, so that everyone in the family has expectations on what can and cannot be bought ahead of time to ensure that no one goes over their allowance. And, don’t forget that if you are a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can save money on transportation and gas by taking their shuttles to and from the parks, but if you are driving you can still show your room key and park at any of the parks for free. If you are not getting a rental car and are staying at Disney, be sure to also take advantage of Disney’s Magic Express, a free charter bus system that will take you to and from the Orlando International Airport for free!

If you live by the above tips and purchase your discounted theme park tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com, there is no reason why you and your family cannot enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort for under $200 a day!

Universal Orlando Resort Hotels are Committed to Conservation

The Loews Hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort are making it possible for you to keep your conservation hat on while vacationing in Orlando. The recent Earth Day celebration probably has you thinking about how you can stay “green” on vacation. Well, since saving is on your mind, start right now. Save both money and time by getting your Universal tickets, Sea World tickets, Disney tickets and all of your Orlando attraction tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com, your one-stop shop for Orlando theme park tickets.

The Universal Orlando Resort announced a new conservation program last year that persuades Universal employees and Universal theme park guests to “go green.” The Universal Orlando Resort has 3 hotels on property, all adjacent to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk. And all 3 Loews hotels at the Universal Resort have taken a step up to the conservation plate by voluntarily seeking membership in the Florida Green Lodging Program.

Universal Resort programs focus on saving energy and recycling
In its quest for inclusion in the Florida Green Lodging Program, the Universal Orlando Resort has many conservation programs in place, all geared toward energy conservation, waste reduction and environmental protection. Super green Energy Star appliances are used across Universal’s Orlando property in addition to environmentally friendly thermostats and lighting.

The Universal Orlando Resort is also concerned about conserving Florida’s diminishing water supply. And they’re doing their part by enabling Universal hotel guests to re-use their linens and towels, thereby cutting down on laundry. The Universal theme parks and hotels save even more water by using low flow dishwashers, washing machines and hot water heaters, and by irrigating their lush landscape with reclaimed water.

Staying at a Universal Orlando Resort Hotel has its benefits
Guests at one of the three Loews hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort get special benefits that are not available to anyone else. When you choose to stay at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel or the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, you have the privilege of Universal Express ride access. You still need a Universal ticket to get into the park, but once there you can legally cut ahead in line by showing your valid room key card from one of the Universal Resort hotels.

Conservation is cool. So begin saving today by getting your Universal tickets and all of your Orlando theme park tickets in one place!

Save the Planet During Your Orlando Vacation

Earth Day brings to mind the many ways we can all contribute to saving the planet. Enough information is out there by now so that no one has an excuse for not conserving, even on vacation. Even though you are taking time off from work, that doesn’t mean you can take time off from saving the world.

One of the best ways to conserve both time and money is to get all of the theme park tickets you need for your Orlando vacation in one place. OrlandoFunTickets.com is the best one-stop-shop on the Web for Disney tickets, SeaWorld tickets, Universal tickets, Busch Gardens tickets, Discovery Cove tickets, and tickets to all of your favorite Orlando attractions. We can even get you tickets to your favorite Orlando dinner shows!

Great Ways to Conserve on Your Orlando Vacation
After you save time and money by getting all of your Orlando attraction tickets right here, keep these suggestions in mind to stay green during your Orlando vacation:
  • Recycle! The fact that you’re staying in a hotel doesn’t mean you can throw away those bottles and cans. Check with your hotel’s front desk and make sure they provide a way for you to recycle during your vacation, especially since we all tend to use more disposable items when we are away from home.

  • Use those buses, trams, boats and monorails. If your hotel offers transportation, take advantage of it. First of all, this gives the driver a vacation from driving (and you are on vacation after all, right?). Second, it saves energy by transporting a few larger groups of people (15 families sharing one shuttle bus) instead of many smaller groups (15 families in 15 cars) cough-cough.

  • Turn off the lights and TV. We know you’re not paying the electric bill during your Orlando hotel stay. But that doesn’t give you license to be wasteful. If you’re not using it, turn it off. Even if the money to pay the bill isn’t coming out of your wallet, in the long run everyone on the planet will pay for wastefulness.

Following these few suggestions will help you to stay green during your Orlando vacation. But remember the best savings of all is to get your cheap Orlando theme park tickets at OrlandoFunTickets.com!

Orlando Theme Parks are the Best in the World

Orlando theme parks hold 3 of the top 10 spots on the list of worlds best theme park chains recently released by Themed Entertainment Associates and Economic Research Associates. And we have the discount Orlando theme park tickets you need to see for yourself.

Walt Disney World Takes the Top Spot
Walt Disney World
is the number 1 theme park chain in the world with 116.5 million 2007 attendance, according to the TEA/ERA report published on March 14.

Universal and Anheuser-Busch Parks Also Rank High on List
Universal Orlando Resort theme parks took third place in the TEA/ERA list of top theme park chains in the world with attendance of 26.4 million. Busch Entertainment parks, which include local favorites SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay came in sixth with reported attendance of 22.3 million in 2007.

All of Orlando’s Theme Parks Make List of Top 25 Theme Parks Worldwide
Virtually every one of the 8 major Orlando theme parks made the top 25 list, and half of them – all Disney parks – were in the top 10.
1 – Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
6 – Epcot at Walt Disney World
7 – Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World
8 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World
11 – Universal Studios at Universal Orlando Resort
12 – SeaWorld Orlando
15 – Islands of Adventure at the Universal Orlando Resort
19 – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Grabbing the top spot, Disney’s Magic Kingdom reportedly had a whopping 17 million visitors last year. You can join in that crowd by getting your Disney tickets today!

Orlando Water Parks Also Placed Among the World’s Best
Orlando water parks nabbed 4 of the top 20 spots on the list of world’s best water parks.
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, both at the Walt Disney World Resort, placed 1st and 2nd respectively, while Wet N’ Wild came in 4th. Busch’s Adventure Island in Tampa Bay ranked number 15 on the list that included water parks from as far away as Korea and Australia.

Attendance was up at all of the Orlando water parks in 2007, but they have some new competition this year with the opening of Aquatica at SeaWorld.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom saw the biggest jump in attendance, thanks to Expedition Everest, a crazy coaster that’s worth the price of admission (especially when you get your discount Disney tickets here!).

Coasting Through Orlando Part 3 SeaWorld Orlando

Orlandos Best Roller Coasters and Where to Find Cheap SeaWorld Tickets to Ride Them

We are ready to conquer yet another group of crazy coasters this time at SeaWorld Orlando. The first step when planning to visit these superb Orlando attractions is to get your discount theme park tickets right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com! We are the best source for cheap Sea World tickets, and you can get yours right now.

SeaWorld Orlando is a popular Orlando attraction for many reasons, but rave roller coasters hasn’t always been one of them. That changed in 2000 when Kraken landed. Kraken ranks as the tallest, fastest and only floorless coaster in Orlando.

This behemoth is modeled after a mythical sea monster. Monster? Yes. Myth? No.

Kraken soars 150-feet into Orlando’s blue sky. That’s like climbing up the outside of a 15-story building with nothing under you but the hard earth below. Sound intimidating? It is.

And that’s not all. Kraken tips its captives upside down 7 times during the smooth, slithering ride through turns, twists, hills and spins. It will shake you up one side and down the other. Sea World is not just about animals anymore.

Journey to Atlantis gives you another plunge into excitement at SeaWorld Orlando. This flume-style coaster transports you to the Lost City of Atlantis. And if it’s a trip into the unknown you are looking for, this water expedition serves it up.

Your sea vehicle splashes you around the mysterious findings of a lost civilization, but this is not just some tour boat ride. Journey to Atlantis provides many surprises as you coast and dip along in the murky water…until that one final revelation.

Let’s just say the Shamu Show isn’t the only place you will get wet during your trip to SeaWorld Orlando.

Now you have two more additions to your Coasting Through Orlando vacation itinerary. Before you can get on these memorable monsters, you need a SeaWorld ticket, and you don’t have to go on a seaward exploration to find that.

Your discount SeaWorld tickets – and any other Orlando theme park tickets you need – are right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com! We are the best source in Orlando for cheap theme park tickets. Since you’re already here, go ahead and get your discount SeaWorld tickets now.

The Tide of Aquatica is Rushing Into Orlando

SeaWorld’s new water park is opening soon so get your cheap SeaWorld tickets here today

Just about a year ago SeaWorld announced a new tide was rising on the Orlando attraction horizon. And with that a new, one-of-a-kind water park began to emerge. Aquatica isn’t just any water park. No. It is the kind of water park only Sea World can conceive.

All you need to get in on this fresh fount of fishy fun is a ticket. And there’s no better place to get your cheap Aquatica tickets than at OrlandoFunTickets.com!

Aquatica isn’t just a new Orlando attraction. It is an entirely new concept in water parks, where the water isn’t just for splashing around in. It is also home to sea creatures that you can interact with and observe.

“SeaWorld is famous for immersing guests in the mystery of the sea and its animals,” said Jim Atchison, executive vice president and general manager of SeaWorld Orlando. “Aquatica takes this immersion to a new level, inviting guests to play in, over, and under the water itself.”

If you are looking for a wild, wet ride, Aquatica boasts 36 different water slides! The signature attraction propels guests in clear tubes through a lagoon full of Commerson’s dolphins, giving you the feeling of total immersion into the undersea dolphin habitat.

Want to sit back and relax? Aquatica has over 80,000 square feet of beach plus six rivers and lagoons, where you can float and sunbathe your stress away.

Many of Aquatica’s water attractions do double duty. Two gigantic wave pools offer side-by-side surf experiences: one with 5-foot swells and surf crashing around you; the other with gentle rolling waves you can float atop and enjoy. Nine different wave patterns can be created in the two pools, and they can even compete with “dueling waves.”

The delightful rivers streaming through Aquatica offer guests a variety of fun levels too. You can swim and float from “serene to extreme.”

One river flows along gentle waterfalls, showcasing exotic birds and ending up in a grotto full of colorful tropical fish. A second river gives guests the ride of their lives through rushing rapids, gushing geysers and crazy currents.

Aquatica opens to the public on March 1. You can be one of the first to splash in this pool by getting your discount Aquatica tickets now at OrlandoFunTickets.com!

10. Wild Arctic – This motion-simulator-based thrill ride takes guests on an unforgettable helicopter ride to a remote research station – Base Station Wild Arctic. This exploration is filled with surprises as your pilot tries to get you to your research base before a major snowstorm hits the area.

9. Dolphin Cove – Located in the Key West area at Sea World Orlando, Dolphin Cove is home to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in a 700,000-gallon lagoon. You can choose to stay above the water and feed and interact with these creatures, or check them out at the underwater viewing area for a rare look at how they play beneath the surface.

8. Odyssea – This 30-minute show combines acrobatics, athleticism, modern dance, comedy and special effects to create a non-traditional circus that brings the wonder of the seas to life.

7. Clydesdale Hamlet – Home to SeaWorld’s famous Budweiser Clydesdales, guests can get up close and personal with these animals during daily posing and petting sessions or just browse through to witness the beauty of these animals in their stables.

6. Shamu’s Happy Harbor – This play area is a special place for the little ones that includes six child-sized rides, a Sea Carousel and Shamu Express, the park’s first family-oriented coaster. Shamu’s Happy Harbor will provide hours of fun for the smallest Sea World guests and can give parents a much-needed break during the day!

5. Clyde and Seamore – Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island is the daytime show, featuring a sensational tale of lost loot, pirate plunder and misadventure on the high seas. A Sea World Orlando animal trainer and his first mate, Clyde the sea lion, pal around during this new sea lion and otter show. Sea World's comical flippered family teams up on the most elaborate and realistic sea lion set ever built to offer more guest interaction and introduce the newest cast member - a harbor seal - in this hilarious show that is a real can’t-miss attraction. Be sure to arrive early for some pre-show entertainment as well!

4. Journey to Atlantis – This ultimate adventure ride is part-thrill seekers paradise and part-water ride. As you kick off the ride, you will be traveling on water and high-speed rails, being chased by spirits who want to keep you from your destination (which, by the way, is a six-story drop almost straight down!).

3. Blue Horizons – This one-of-a-kind show combines some of Sea World’s most famous inhabitants with a Broadway-like production. Blue Horizons is based upon the dreams of a child who wishes to fly like the birds and swim like the dolphins. Aerialists dive into the water, while dolphins, whales, their trainers and bungee jumpers perform acrobatic moves in and above the water to make the dreams of the young girl come true.

2. Kraken – Encounter Orlando’s tallest and only floorless coaster at Sea World Orlando on this thrill ride. Kraken takes you up 140 feet in the air, turns you upside down seven times and reaches a bone-chilling 65 mph during its 3-minute, 39-second adventure. Many experts tout this as the best roller coaster in all of Central Florida, and we couldn’t agree more!

1. Believe – How could we make a top-10 list for Sea World and not include Sea World’s famous mascot at the tope? Shamu the killer whale stars in Believe, a captivating and visually stunning new show that allows fans to get a glimpse into what it is like to work with these magical creatures, while also adding in an element of fun (beware of the splash zone!). You will be amazed at the tricks these creatures and their trainers perform and equally as touched by their beauty and grace – if you only believe!
