How to Beat the Heat at SeaWorld Orlando
If SeaWorld Orlando is on your summer vacation list of places to visit, you will be looking for ways to beat the Orlando heat. Temperatures on a typical Orlando summer day reach into the upper 90s, and the humidity is up there too. There are generally thunderstorms every afternoon, and that does cool things off, but not much.

SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #1 – The Splash Zone
The most famous SeaWorld icon is undoubtedly Shamu, and the Splash Zone at the Shamu Show is the hottest spot to keep cool. Usually somewhere in the first few rows, the Splash Zone is a certain seating section where the audience is sure to get wet. Shamu always seems to have a special surprise waiting for his Splash Zone friends, and the soaking keeps you cool for hours.
SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #2 – The Wild Arctic
Nothing says refreshment on a beastly hot Orlando summer day like a tour through the arctic north. Besides cooling you down, The Wild Arctic gives you a chance to visit with cool creatures like polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. A few minutes inside here and you won’t even remember it’s summer outside.
SeaWorld Orlando Heat Beaters #3 – The Penguin Encounter
The Arctic isn’t the only chilly place to visit on a hot day at Sea World Orlando. The Penguin Encounter is just as cool, and the penguins are even cooler.
