If anyone in your family has a fascination with dinosaurs, then Dinoland U.S.A. in
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will have to be a must-see on your list. This area of the park is themed around these prehistoric creatures, with three attractions –
DINOSAUR,
Primeval Whirl and TriceraTop Spin – that have dinosaur themes. With the addition of midway games and a carnival-like atmosphere, Dinoland U.S.A. is one of the brightest and most fun areas of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Dinoland U.S.A. is just one of the many themed areas of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it is often viewed as just a kid’s area. Whether you normally visit this area of the park or not, it is definitely worth a look the next time you and your family are on vacation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Another place worth a look that will help you with your vacation planning (and your vacation savings!) is right here at your fingertips at OrlandoFunTickets.com! As Orlando’s largest ticket store, we offer discounts on theme park tickets that you can’t find anywhere else, so whether you are planning on visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort for just a few days or much longer, make sure to get your discounted theme park tickets
here with OrlandoFunTickets.com!
Located in Dinoland U.S.A., DINOSAUR is a raucous ride into the past, as guests enter the Dino Institute, where one of the scientists, Dr. Seeker, has given you access to a 12-passenger “time rover” that will take you back to the Cretaceous period when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Your mission is to search for and bring back the Iguanodon – the only problem is that the time period you are entering is dangerously close to the time when a meteor supposedly struck the Earth, killing all forms of life… and did we mention the living dinosaurs?
Also located in Dinoland U.S.A. is Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, home to Primeval Whirl and TriceraTop Spin. Primeval Whirl is the main attraction in Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama, but unlike a regular roller coaster, this ride has spinning cars, so as you go around curves, go down a hill or zip around a curve at speeds of up to 29 mph, your car will be in spin mode the entire time! TriceraTop Spin, on the other hand, is not as scary, with 16 four-person dinosaur vehicles that rotate around in a circle and move up and down vertically much like the
Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction at the
Magic Kingdom Park.
Dinoland U.S.A. may be the place to go for dinosaur-themed attractions, but don’t overlook this area of the park just because of its theme, as it has many attractions,
food & beverage and
merchandise locations that are sure to entertain the entire family!
