Disney Hollywood Studios

The Disney Hollywood Studios, the third park built at the Walt Disney World Resort, opened in 1989 and is inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood. Originally, this park was a working television and film production studio along with being a theme park, but most of the sets and production studios have since been relocated off property, so the park now mainly serves for entertainment purposes only. The Disney Hollywood Studios is a salute to the world of showbiz, both of yesteryear and today.
