Gatorland is not referred to as the ‘Alligator Capitol of the World’ for nothing! Alligator Island, located on the northern side of Gator Lake, is home to the largest alligators in the park, including Alf, the 15-foot American Crocodile that weighs in at over 1,000 pounds. Other highlights at the Gatorland theme park include the Swamp Walk, a rare look at what Central Florida looked like before it was inhabited with all of the tourist attractions you see today. If you are looking to view more of the park’s famous alligators, visit Jungle Crocs, which is home to some of the largest and most intimidating crocodiles in all of the world!
