The Walt Disney World Resort is all about choices. As a guest, you can choose from a multitude of hotels on property, four theme parks, two waters parks – and the list goes on and on! But, with so many choices, how does one make any kind of decisive decision on anything? Take eating for example – there are dozens of full service restaurants at the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and at many of the resort hotels, and there are many different kinds of sit-down meals, including dinner shows, character dining opportunities or signature dining restaurants. While there may be something for everyone here, it is important to know how to select the right full service restaurant for you and your family while you are visiting Disney, and OrlandoFunTickets.com would like to help!
If you are planning on making a visit to Central Florida in the near future, you will have a lot more choices to make other than when and where to eat. In fact, one of your biggest choices very well may be where you purchase your tickets for the theme parks and what kind of tickets you choose. Here at OrlandoFunTickets.com, we would like to take the guesswork out of that for you! If you purchase your tickets here, you are guaranteed to get the best deals on discounted tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort, along with other top attractions here in Central Florida. We also have many choices of ticket options so that you can select the right package that will be suited just for your family. We know you have many options when it comes to buying your Disney tickets, but if you purchase your tickets here, you will have made the right decision for sure!
As we mentioned earlier, it is no easy task choosing which full service restaurant is right for you and your family. In fact, there are many factors you have to take into account, including the price, the dress code and the option of whether to eat in a theme park or venture to one of the restaurants that are scattered around the Disney property. For example, if you would like a full service dinner at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we would suggest that you partake in the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, which includes priority seating at one of the park’s restaurants and also a reserved seat at that evening’s Fantasmic! show. But, if you are looking for a night of entertainment on a day when you don’t plan on being in the park, we might suggest a dinner show combination like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds. This show is two hours of non-stop entertainment on the stage while non-stop home cooking flows to your table all evening!
If you have small children with you on your vacation, you may also want to consider one of Disney’s nearly 15 character dining opportunities. These are located at some resorts and at all four theme parks, and they give your family the chance to dine with some of your favorite Disney characters. Each restaurant features different characters, so you have the opportunity to really cater to what kinds of characters your child loves. If you have a small girl who loves the Disney princesses, for example, you could treat her to a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table, which is actually a restaurant inside Cinderella Castle and features appearances from members of Disney’s royal family, including Cinderella herself.
Wherever you decide to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will want to remember one key thing – reservations, reservations, reservations! All of Disney’s full service restaurants have priority seating available up to 180 days in advance, so it is best to do your research early, figure out when and where you would like to eat, and then call as early as possible to ensure you can get a table on your requested date. Some restaurants, including the Chef’s Table at Victoria & Albert’s at Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (this is a private table inside the kitchen at this fine dining restaurant) basically require you to call exactly 180 days prior just to get a reservation! In other words, call to make your seating arrangements (407-WDW-DINE) as early as you can!
The last thing you will need to consider before making your full service food selections is where you can eat if you have the Disney Dining Plan. If you purchase the Disney Dining Plan, each member of your family will be able to eat one table service meal, one quick service meal and have one snack per every day that you are staying at Disney. And while there are over 100 restaurants in total available on this plan, you need to make sure to have a complete listing (you can get this at your hotel) of each restaurant that is eligible with this unique plan. The Disney Dining Plan can save your family up to 30 percent on dining costs at the Walt Disney World Resort, but you have to make sure to choose one of their selected full service restaurants in order to fully take advantage of this deal. Also, it is very important to note that some of the more exclusive restaurants at Disney that do accept the Disney Dining plan sometimes take two of your full service credits just for the one meal, so keep that in mind when choosing which restaurant you would like to eat at.
And remember, while the Disney Dining Plan can save you a lot of money on food, we can save you a lot of money on your tickets! Simply click here to look through our discounted theme park ticket deals now!
