Sea World Orlando’s exclusive evening extravaganza, the Makahiki Luau, is an authentic Polynesian Luau at the Seafire Inn that is filled with the exotic sights, sounds and tastes of the Pacific Isles. By the time the Makahiki Luau starts, you will already feel like you are in another world, far away from North America. The evening begins with the arrival of the tribal chief via boat. The chief will then lead everyone into the theater at the Seafire Inn located in the Waterfront district of Sea World Orlando, and from there, the entertainment and fun begins! Prepare to be mesmerized by a charming cast of hula dancers, talented fire artists and gifted musicians as this festive celebration takes your breath away with authentic customs, dance and costumes. For this nightly special presentation, adults can expect to pay $ 45.95 plus tax, while children ages 3-9 are $ 29.95 plus tax. At the Makahiki Luau, entrée selections will include: island salad, mahi mahi in piña colada sauce, Hawaiian chicken, Polynesian-style barbecue spare ribs, stir-fried vegetable medley, Polynesian fried rice, and dessert is The Big Kahuna. Beverage Selections include Anheuser-Busch beers, Pepsi products, coffee, hot tea and iced tea. One complimentary cocktail is provided at the beginning of the show, but all alcoholic beverages beyond that point are at the discretion of the guest.
Beginning in late November, the Makahiki Luau celebrations turns to the Christmas season-Hawaiian style with the Makahiki Christmas Luau. You will enjoy the festive celebration of authentic Christmas music, costumes and dances, including a special rendition of "O Holy Night."
