Medieval Times promises to take its guests back into time to the 11th century, and the journey begins as King Alfonso and his daughter, Princess Esperanza, greet guests. Everyone receives a colored crown corresponding with not only your seat, but with the knight that you will cheer on throughout the evening. The six Knights of the Realm vie in a tournament throughout the evening, complete with a flag toss, ring pierce and javelin throw. Once the competitions are complete, a full joust commences, as each knight takes to an Andalusian horse, and at the end of the battles, only one brave knight is left standing as the new champion for the evening. This unique show includes an original music score recorded by the world-renowned Prague Symphony Orchestra, 11^th century costumes and other special effects. And, of course, what show wouldn’t be complete without a love story!

For those who want to continue their royal experience after the show, the adventure continues in The Knight Club. Here, guests of the show can dance, drink and meet the cast of the show. Guests can also peruse the medieval village, a re-created Middle Ages settlement, for a small extra fee as well.

This four-course meal at Medieval Times is unique in many ways. Keeping with the medieval theme, all food is served on metal plates, and guests eat like they are in the Middle Ages – and that means no silverware! Guests can expect to dine on finger foods such as garlic bread, barbequed spare ribs, herb-roasted chicken, vegetable soup, appetizers, herb-roasted potatoes, a pastry desert and beer.
