Shopping on Sunset Boulevard
Located just off of Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is perhaps the most popular area of the entire park. Sunset Boulevard is home to the park’s two most popular attractions, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, but there is more to this area than just two attractions. In fact, some of the best shopping in the entire park can also be found right here!
The first store on the left side of the street is the Beverly Sunset, which is home to two adjacent stores – Sweet Spells and Villains in Vogue. If you are looking for a sweet treat in the middle of your day, or just a goodie to take home with you, Sweet Spells is one of the best places on property to quench that sweet tooth craving! This shop dishes out sugary sweet treats such as candy and caramel apples (which you can custom-create with your own toppings – just ask), delectable fudge, frozen fruit-flavored drinks and much more. Then, you can browse your way through Villains in Vogue on the way out, which is home to Disney villain’s character merchandise along with “Pirates of the Caribbean”-themed souvenirs!
Just past the Beverly Sunset is the Sunset Market Ranch, which has a variety of souvenirs and gifts such as Mickey’s sorcerer hats in this outdoor stand (which also sells fresh fruit and frozen lemonade). On the other side of Sunset Boulevard is Legends of Hollywood, which has changed considerably over the past few years. Once home to everything Winnie the Pooh, this store has now been converted into the prime place for “High School Musical,” “Camp Rock” and “Hannah Montana” merchandise. The Planet Hollywood Super Store is right next door, and while there is no Planet Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can get plenty of Planet Hollywood logo items right here.
The Sunset Boulevard shops just down the street from Legends of Hollywood and the Planet Hollywood Super Store have also undergone a drastic change. Once home to holiday merchandise and jewelry, among other items, this store is now home to mostly clothing and accessories for women and children.
The last two shops on Sunset Boulevard are the merchandise stores at the end of the Twilight Zone Tower or Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith attractions. While you don’t have to go on these rides to enter these shops, you must walk through them if you have been on the attraction to get back into the park. The Twilight Shops have Tower of Terror logo merchandise, including clothes, T-shirts that say “I survived!”and other hotel-themed items, including bathrobes. The Rock Around the Shop is a little more creative in its gifts, offering musical items such as guitar picks to go along with Aerosmith and attraction-themed merchandise.
If you are visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, don’t forget that the only way you can get all the merchandise from any of these stores is with a theme park ticket, which you can get here at a discounted price from OrlandoFunTickets.com! With all of the money you will save on admission, you are sure to have enough left over to take home that perfect Walt Disney World Resort souvenir to show your friends and family back home!
In addition, if you are a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you are in luck as well! Not only can you take advantage of free package delivery to your hotel room, you also don’t have to worry about bringing your credit card with you either – just simply show your Key to the World card and the charges for all purchases will be billed directly to your room account. In addition, whether you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or not, you can have your packages sent to the front of the park so you can pick them up on your way out (and you won’t have to lug them around with you all day!), and your purchases can also be shipped anywhere in the world via FedEx for an extra fee. And, if you get home from your vacation and regret not purchasing something you saw at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can order any item from the theme parks at any time by calling 407-363-6200 during business hours. We hope all of these tips, along with the discounted deals you will receive here at OrlandoFunTickets.com, will help you to have the vacation of a lifetime here in Central Florida!
