Once you have your tickets to Sea World, it is time to start planning what to do once you get inside the park! As we mentioned above, Shamu the killer whale is the biggest star at Sea World Orlando, starring in not one but two shows at this theme park. Believe is a daytime show that runs year-round and gives guests a glimpse into what it is like to work with these magical creatures. Shamu Rocks is a seasonal show that usually only runs during the summer months, but is certainly a can’t-miss. This rock n’ roll concert combines improvisational movements of the killer whales with music remixed from the hottest stars today. Shamu and a team of skilled trainers push the limits in the water, while 20-foot wide rotating LED screens set the stage for a colossal multimedia presentation and nearly 100 speakers throughout the stadium provide an optimal rock n’ roll surround sound experience. Both Believe and Shamu Rocks are must-sees at Sea World Orlando, and because they are so popular, be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to arrive early – or you just may find yourself sitting in the splash zone!
The second-most popular show at Sea World is Blue Horizons – a one-of-a-kind show that combines some of SeaWorld’s most famous inhabitants with a Broadway-like production. Blue Horizons is based upon the dreams of a child who wishes to fly like the birds and swim like the dolphins. Aerialists dive into the water, while dolphins, whales, their trainers and bungee jumpers perform acrobatic moves in and above the water to make the sea meet the sky and the dreams of the young girl come true.
Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island is a show that may be overlooked by some families, but should be near the top of everyone’s to-do list at Sea World Orlando. Featuring a sensational tale of lost loot, pirate plunder and misadventure on the high seas, Clyde the sea lion and his pal Seamore team up on the most elaborate and realistic sea lion set ever built to offer more guest interaction and introduce the newest cast member - a harbor seal - in this hilarious show that is a real can’t-miss for any family visit to the park.
In all of the shows above, you can witness some of the finest marine creatures in the world performing tricks and entertaining crowds all day. But at Pet’s Ahoy!, you will find more than 100 land animals, ranging from dogs, cats, birds, rats and skunks to pot-belly pigs, performing skits in this 25-minute show that is sure to both amaze you and have you doubled over in laughter.
Not all of the shows at Sea World feature animals, however. Odyssea, a 30-minute show that combines acrobatics, athleticism, modern dance, comedy and special effects, creates a non-traditional circus that brings the wonders of the seas to life, while the Bayside Stadium features the cast of Sesame Street in a seasonal show that brings high seas entertainment for all of the youngsters in attendance!
While all of the above shows should be on your must-see list at Sea World Orlando, there are even more attractions and tons of exhibits and things to see and do at this magnificent theme park. But to see it all for yourself, you are going to need tickets to get in! For the lowest prices on theme park tickets anywhere, be sure to purchase them all right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com!
