Now that you have heard about all of the wonderful benefits of purchasing your discounted tickets through, we would like to help you enjoy yourself while you are down here on vacation. The key to surviving

International Drive on your next vacation is to first of all know what all it offers and how to get there. The ideal location of
International Drive is probably what makes it such a beacon for local entertainment. This road runs north to south, almost parallel to Interstate-4 in Orlando, giving it many exits off of the highway, and it also intersects with major roads such as Sand Lake Rd., Central Florida Parkway (where you can find Discovery Cove) and the Beach Line, SR-528, which is a direct route over to the Orlando International Airport and on over to the beaches of the Florida east coast (and Cape Canaveral, where the Kennedy Space Center and a large cruise ship port is located).

The attractions on I-Drive really begin down around the Orlando Premium Outlets, which are located just off of International Drive on Vineland Road. These outlets provide a host of over 100 designer and name brand clothing and retail options and are pretty much guaranteed to be busy every single day of the year! From there, you will travel to the Central Florida Parkway area where, as we mentioned above, you will find Discovery Cove, Sea World Orlando and the newly built Aquatica, Sea World’s first water park. If you continue northbound, you will pass SR-528 and then almost immediately run into the Orange County Convention Center, which is home to hundreds of conventions and national trade shows each year. Also located in this area are a large number of hotels and resorts, with arguably some of the nicest resorts in all of Central Florida located in this area, including the Rosen Plaza Hotel and the Peabody Hotel Orlando.

Once you get past this often-congested area of International Drive, you will continue to find a plethora of smaller chain hotels and tons of restaurants until you arrive the Wet ‘n’ Wild/Universal Orlando area. From this portion of International Drive until you reach the end at the recently renovated Orlando Prime Outlets, you will a shopper’s paradise! Virtually any and every kind of store can either be found right along the road or at either the Prime Outlets or the Festival Bay Mall, which is located just down from this outlet haven. Of course, this area is also home to tons of restaurants, from smaller chain restaurants to nice sit-down options for every taste bud and every budget!

We hope the above information will help you as you begin to plan your next trip to Central Florida. And remember, these are only the highlights of what International Drive has to offer. There are many more entertainment complexes, dinner shows and more all within the stretch of International Drive. So, if you plan on visiting Orlando any time soon, don’t forget to make both I-Drive and a part of your vacation plans!
