Welcome to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park! Whether you're into wild and crazy water slides or an easy going day at the beach, find it all at this tropical island-style Water Park.
Upon arrival to this beautifully created Water Park, you may want to find a locker for your personal belongings, and lock things like purses, billfolds, and hats up for the day. You'll find the lockers just inside the park.
Orlando Fun Tickets suggests that you head straight for Crush 'n' Gusher because it is the newest attraction at the Park. The lines may become lengthy as it gets later in the day so the earlier the better on this one. Another slide you and your family may want to tackle early in the day is the famous Humunga Kowabunga, where you'll literally drop five stories in just seconds in this enclosed slide.
While you're at it, hopefully feeling the island-style theme by now, try your hand at the many waterfalls turned water slides such as Gang Plank Falls, Keelhaul Falls, and Mayday Falls. Some are group rafts while Mayday Falls is a single-rider inner tube slide, which will take you up down and all around several cavernous areas lined with tropical plants, shrubs, and palm trees, enjoy the scenic views of this stunning Park on the way down the slides.
Kick it up a notch with the Storm Slides rush and rush down one of three fast moving body slides: the Jib Jammer, Stern Burner, or the Rudder Buster. All three of them twist and turn through extravagant waterfalls, natural geysers, and a wild drop of more than three stories! Now that you've kicked it up a notch, go ahead and take on the massive waves in the Surf Pool, which is one of the largest wave pools in the world!
If at any point during your day your group gets tired of speeding down slides or catching waves in the wave pool, feel free to stop by Shark Reef or Castaway Creek. At Shark Reef you will actually be able to snorkel across a saltwater reef with real live sharks and schools of other tropical fish. At Castaway Creek, grab your own personal inner tube and float gracefully through the entire Park in this lush, green, and exotic "lazy river".
