About an hour and a half before the Daytona 500 starts, guests can catch a glimpse of the impressive trophy during the 500 trophy procession from Sprint FANZONE to Pit Road. And then at 12:20 country superstars Zac Brown Band will hit the Main Stage for a pre-race concert that is sure to get the crowds even more pumped as they belt out their biggest hits. The star power doesn’t end there either. At 1 p.m. as the drivers line up at the start line, Academy Award nominee James Franco will serve as Grand Marshal of the race by proclaiming, “Drivers, start your engines!” to begin “The Great American Race.”
