Food for Thought

To ensure you get the most out of your Orlando theme park trip most guests like to arrive first thing in the morning to beat the crowds and the Florida heat. If you spent all morning packing and traveling just to get to the theme park when it opens you might not have been able to fit in breakfast. Not to worry, here are Universal Orlando’s top breakfast places to fuel up before your adventure-filled day:

Three Broomsticks – If you can wait until you get inside the parks you may want to try Three Broomsticks inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure. If you want to start your morning the way Harry Potter and his wizard friends do, Three Broomsticks should be your first stop. Immaculately themed to all things Hogwarts, Three Broomsticks serves up traditional British fare like eggs, sausage and black pudding (Traditional English Breakfast), old fashioned steamed oats (Porridge Breakfast), fresh fruit, croissant (Continental Breakfast) and scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon (American Breakfast)

Cinnabon – Located just outside of Universal Orlando in CityWalk, Cinnabon is the go-to breakfast for anybody who loves a good pastry in the morning. Serving up their world-famous “original” Cinnabons fresh out of the oven each morning, Cinnabon is a sweet way to start your day. They also offer other pastry options such as their Cinnabon Stix and fresh Seattle’s Best Coffee. There’s also a Cinnabon at the Port of Entry inside Islands of Adventure.

Starbucks – Everybody’s favorite coffee house is ready and waiting for the early arrivals with their famous brews and delicious breads, doughnuts, cookies, juices and breakfast sandwiches. Also located in CityWalk, Starbucks is a great place to lounge and relax before the fun-filled day begins. There’s also a Starbucks at Universal Studios by Louie’s Italian Restaurant.

CityWalk Shoreline – Perhaps the most picturesque dining option of all the ones listed here, CityWalk Shoreline also offers two different venues to grab breakfast. The first is across from Emeril’s Orlando and sells breakfast sandwiches, croissants, muffins, yogurt and a mix of morning beverages. The other is near NASCAR Sports Grille and lures in guests with its cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, iced coffee and baked goods.

Croissant Moon Bakery – Also located in Islands of Adventure, Croissant Moon Bakery is a little known restaurant that serves up some pretty delicious breakfast items. Attached to Confisco Grille by Port of Entry, this delightful spot offers your favorite breakfast sandwiches including Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant; Smoked Turkey Port of Call Sandwich; Hot Pressed Paninis and so much more.

Beverly Hills Boulangerie – Located right in the entry of Universal Studios, Beverly Hills Boulangerie sounds much fancier than it is but don’t let the name deter you. It’s a quick-service restaurant that offers afresh mix of breakfast sandwiches and sweets.
