Christmas Treats at Walt Disney WorldAdults and kids alike can agree, aside from all of the presents one of the most exciting thing about the holidays is the delicious sweet treats! And Walt Disney World ® is certainly making spirits bright this season with lots of sugary, gooey, and chocolaty goodness you can’t resist!

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios ® at the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights guests can overload their senses with the spectacular light show and specialty cupcakes like the Santa Mickey – a cupcake with a Santa hat and chocolate Mickey ears and dusted in red and green sprinkles. The area is also offering glazed almonds, glazed pecans, and a souvenir bucket with caramel popcorn.

At Magic Kingdom ® you can enjoy complimentary snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you don’t have a ticket to the annual party you can still enjoy the park’s Christmas sweet treats in the New Fantasyland at the Big Top in the Storybook Circus area or the Main Street Confectionary where you can satisfy your sweet tooth with giant Mickey sugar cookies, vanilla cupcakes topped with green icing and sprinkles, Christmas-decorated Mickey, Minnie and snowman caramel apples, Mickey gingerbread men and much more.

Animal Kingdom ® is also serving up specialty holiday treats this year including the Yule Log at Kusafiri Bakery. The holiday treat is made up of dark chocolate shavings for the “bark,” a super moist cake with a rich vanilla flavor, and a thick mousse-like frosting blended throughout. Kusafiri Bakery is also spreading the cheer with red-and-green frosted chocolate brownies and holiday cookies.

Get a taste of the season at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with the giant Gingerbread sculpture that pays homage to the Grand Canyon Concourse Mural artist, Mary Blair. This year, the resort has created a replica of the “it’s a small world” attraction façade, complete with a window that opens and closes and a Gingerbread tree. In front of the display, guests can purchase tasty baked goods like mini gingerbread houses, gingerbread cookie mixes, chocolate monorails, chocolate peppermint cookies, Mickey Mouse gingerbread shingles, toffee pretzels, Disney Cook Books and more.

And for the adults looking to enjoy their own “treats” at Walt Disney World ®, “Hollywood Studios ® is spreading “Yuletide Cheer” with specialty holiday cocktails including a Merry Margarita complete with Sauza Gold tequila, Blue Curacao, Sweet-and-Sour, and Lime Juice served in a souvenir Glow Cube; Sleigh Ride which consists of Myers’s Platinum Rum, Beefeater Gin, Skyy Vodka, Triple Sec, Sweet-and-Sour and Cranberry Juice served in a souvenir Glow Cube; Snowball – Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, Bailey’s Irish Crème, Amaretto, Half & Half and Whipped Cream sprinkled with Cinnamon Nutmeg; Baileys and Coffee – Baileys Irish Cream and fresh-brewed coffee topped with whipped cream and Captain’s Hot Cider, which is hot apple cider with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum.
