You can’t visit Walt Disney World ® without seeing the park’s most famous character – Mickey Mouse. The world’s most recognized mouse and his trademark head and ears are plastered throughout all four of Disney’s ® parks, and that includes various food items. From Mickey Mouse waffles and pancakes to the popular Mickey ice cream treats throughout the parks and even Mickey-shaped cucumbers in your salad, Walt Disney World ® is constantly coming up with creative new ways to add the famous mouse into meals. Here are just a few of our favorite Mickey-shaped foods:
Start your Mickey feast at Magic Kingdom ® where you can enjoy the Mickey waffle for breakfast at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. Dusted with a generous amount of powdered sugar, the Mickey waffle is one of the tastiest and most unique Mickey-shaped foods in all of the park. And Sleepy Hollow is one of the few places in the world where you can get them!
For the iconic Mickey sweet travel to any treat cart in any of Disney’s ® four parks and enjoy the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar. Just vanilla ice cream covered in a chocolate shell, this signature Mickey treat may be simple but it’ll bring a smile to your face with every bite. Also, you can try the Mickey ice cream sandwich as well.
For a Mickey treat that’ll bring you back to your youth, make sure you visit Frontierland Prairie Outpost and Supply in Magic Kingdom ® for a famous Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treat. Whether you like the good-old fashioned plain marshmallow snack or one covered in chocolate, these Mickey-shaped treats are just plain fun and delicious too!
If your snack cravings are more salty than sweet take a walk over to Frontierland Pretzel Wagon between the Diamond Horseshoe and Pecos Bill Café for a Mickey-shaped pretzel. One of Disney’s ® newest Mickey foods, the pretzel is an instant hit and can be paired with cheese and chocolate dipping sauces for a little extra magic!
Coconut-lovers make sure you to stop by the Confectionary as you leave Magic Kingdom ® for the cult favorite - Mickey-shaped, chocolate-covered coconut patties. These treats are not only mouth-watering but they come pre-packaged so you can take them home with you as a souvenir from your trip. Also, take a Mickey lollipop or two to go.
The Living With the Land Pavilion at Epcot ® serves up its own magic with Mickey-shaped cucumbers, watermelons and even pumpkins! You’ll be able to see the incredible horticulture feats as you take a guided tour through the park’s different greenhouses.
