After a day of shopping, bowling and movie watching who doesn’t love indulging in a sweet treat? We all do and thankfully Downtown Disney ® offers tons of restaurants and confectionary shops to help satisfy our sweet tooth. The next time you’re in Downtown Disney and you’ve got a hankering for something mouthwatering make sure you check out Orlando Fun Tickets’ top sweet treats in Downtown Disney ®:

Fried Candy Bars at Cooke’s of Dublin – As you walk past Cooke’s of Dublin, the quick serve arm of the popular Irish restaurant and bar Raglan Road you might not think it would have one of the most delicious and unique desserts in all of Downtown Disney ®, but you’d be wrong! If you’re in the mood for something sinful make sure you stop in for a D-oh bar at this Irish restaurant. Before we get into the details of a D-oh Bar let us just say that no, they have nothing to do with Homer Simpson but they do have everything to do with deliciousness! That’s because these unique treats are actually deep fried candy bars. More specifically deep fried Snickers candy bars. The sweet batter, gooey filling and crunch of peanuts are a taste bud’s dream and once you have a D-oh bar it’ll be hard to eat a regular candy bar again!

Churros at Bongo’s – It’s hard to choose just one delicious desert at Bongo’s in Downtown Disney, but since we HAD to we went with everybody’s favorite, the Churros. Your traditional churros recipe, these cinnamon-y, crunchy and sweet treats are one of the best we’ve ever had. And while they are delicious on their own, Bongo’s Churros are served with three different dipping sauces to make the dessert even more tempting. Talk about a sweet ending!

Ghirardelli's Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop – Its name alone makes our mouth water. Ghirardelli’s Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop is full of he sweet treats that we begged for as a kid (and sometimes still do). From every kind of sundae you could imagine like The Treasure Island Warm Brownie Sundae – two scoops of vanilla ice cream paired with warm double chocolate brownie, homemade hot fudge and topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry or The Earthquake Family Favorite – eight scoops of ice cream, eight toppings, finished with fresh bananas, whipped cream, chopped almonds, chocolate chips and cherries to shakes and floats and chocolate treats, Ghirardelli’s has everything for the chocolate and ice cream lover.
