What’s more fun than walking the streets at night dressed in your best Halloween costume and asking for candy? How about collecting loads of sugary goodness, winning a costume contest and taking a haunted scavenger hunt through Central Florida’s newest theme park?
LEGOLAND Florida kicked off their annual Halloween event, Brick-or-Treat last weekend and along with costume clad guests and plenty of sweet treats to go around, the spooky event features a haunted scavenger hunt through Miniland U.S.A. Guests, if they dare, guests can scavenge through the 30 million LEGO bricks that make up Miniland U.S.A. trying to find the scary creatures that have invaded the famous cities. But beware! You’ll come across some pretty spooky ghosts, ghouls and goblins like Monster Fighters and their enemies as you slowly wind your way through the attraction.
And to make the area as ghoulish as possible Miniland U.S.A. will be completely transformed to look more like a haunted Miniland U.S.A. with fog machines pouring out ominous fog over the haunted cities at night and other scary touches to keep you spooked all day and night long! The LEGO Monster Fighters Scavenger Hunt begins at 10 a.m. and runs through the evening hours.
In addition to the haunted scavenger hunt, Brick-or-Treat will also include a Brick-or-Treat Trail where guests can collect loads of candy. Beginning at 1 p.m. head to Pirate’s Cove south stadium to begin your trail full of sweet treats! And what’s Halloween without costumes? Make sure your kids come dressed in their best Halloween garb so they can compete in the Kids Costume Contest in Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theatre Plaza. If your costume has what it takes you could win some brick-tastic prizes!
You can’t come to LEGOLAND Florida and not build LEGOs! That’s why Brick-or-Treat is also offering a LEGO Pumpkin Build that lets guests build their very own LEGO Pumpkin. There will also be a Dance Party with a live DJ and dance games as you create your masterpiece.
On Oct. 13 you can enjoy twice the LEGOLAND Florida fun with both Brick-or-Treat Halloween events and LEGOLAND Florida’s 1st anniversary celebration! Guests will be treated with plenty of 1st anniversary fun like a prize patrol with hundreds of gifts to give away and free cupcakes for the first 5,000 guests! Stay tuned for more LEGOLAND Florida anniversary news.
Brick-Or-Treat takes place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is included in regular LEGOLAND Florida admission so you can explore the park by day and enjoy a haunted good time at night!
