Inside the Ride

It may not be the scariest Halloween party you’ll go to but it’s definitely the most fun! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party returns to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom ® September 10 with its usual trick-or-treating, spooky parades, fireworks and new spooky fun this year including a new character greeting opportunity, new Halloween entertainment and so much more!

This year’s event marks the debut appearance of Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Kids will also enjoy running into the Pumpkin King and his love in the Town Square area. Phineas and Ferb will take part in the not-so-scary fun this year as they take charge of the Creepa Crew. This group gets parade-goers ready for the fun on Main Street U.S.A., while they wait for the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.

In Tomorrowland everybody’s favorite monsters Mike and Sully from “Monsters Inc.” will host their own Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball dance party on the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. Get ready for some big surprises and the chance to scream your lungs out!

As always kids will be able to wear their favorite Halloween costume and trick-or-treat around the park. And this year there will be more candy to go around, including more than 220 tons of candy for the drooling kids! In addition to the trick-or-treat stations scattered throughout the park, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party will also give children a few more chances to collect their favorite treats including on the treat trails – pathways that you trick-or-treat through that offer multiple candy stops as you go.

Returning to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the Boo-to-You Halloween parade, which features the Headless horseman, Disney ® characters dressed in their best Halloween garb and the ghosts from The Haunted Mansion. Another returning favorite to look out for is the Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular. During this fantastic fireworks show, Disney ® villains tear up the night sky with bold and colorful fireworks and wicked remixes of their theme songs. Cruella de Vil, Jafar and Oogie Boogie are just a few of the evil-doers you will see explode into the night sky.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties take place from 7 p.m. to midnight throughout September. For a not-so-scary good time you can find discounted tickets right here on Orlando Fun Tickets.
