Universal StudiosIt may be hard to see past the blood-sucking vampires, flesh-eating zombies, snarling beasts, and the rest of the evil-doers at Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights but on any other month in the year, Universal Studios is a very family-friendly theme park. In fact, it’s the perfect place to let your kids experience their favorite Universal and DreamWorks characters. Here are just a few of the rides, shows and attractions you’re kids are sure to love at Universal Studios Orlando.

Curious George – If your little one is just as curious as Curious George then they’ll love exploring the unique playground at Curious George Goes To Town. Here they’ll be able to join Curious George on his adventures by reading giant books throughout the playground, splashing their friends with pump, valves, hoses and levers and even throw, blast and launch thousands of soft foam balls at one another in the Man in the Big Yellow Hat’s Ball Factory.

Fievel’s Playland – Keep the playground fun going at Fievel’s Playland where kids can get a mouse-eye view of the world just the way Fievel sees it. Kids can run, jump, climb and bounce through oversized props from your favorite Fievel films, An American Tail and Fievel Goes West.

E.T. Adventure – Nothing says kid fun like boarding a flying bicycle and flying over the city, past the moon and across the stars in the popular ride E.T. Adventure. And with the rerelease of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on blu-ray, a new generation of children are falling for Steven Spielberg’s most famous alien. Kids will love journeying to the magical planet of E.T. and meeting E.T. himself as he thanks you for all of your help by name.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem – If after watching Despicable Me, your kids were obsessed with being a little yellow minion than make sure you try the brand new ride Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.  Guests will join Gru, his adopted daughters and those mischievous minions for a 3D adventure that will actually turn you into a minion!

Shrek 4-D – And if your kid is more about green ogres than yellow minions head to Shrek 4-D for a very realistic adventure that puts you between “Shrek” and “Shrek 2.” Here you’ll join Shrek and Donkey as they try and rescue Princess Fiona from Lord Farquaad taking you through haunted forests, on the back of a fire-breathing dragon, and over a churning waterfall!

Superstar Parade – Kids can watch their favorite Universal characters all together in the new daytime parade, Superstar Parade. Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora & Diego, EB from the movie Hop, the minions from Despicable Me and more as they dance and sing their way through the park and even stopping so you can interact with them.
