Theme Park News

Brick or Treat Halloween Fun at LEGOLAND FloridaIt’s been quite a year for Central Florida’s newest theme park. From its grand opening last October to jam-packed summer months and a brand new water park that opened at the end of May, Legoland Florida is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing theme parks in Orlando. And this October, Legoland Florida is continuing the family-friendly fun with their second annual Halloween event Brick or Treat.

During Brick or Treat Miniland USA will also be turned into a fun, haunted scavenger hunt where the entire family will be able to search for ghost, ghouls, goblins and other scary LEGO creatures hidden within the 30 million LEGO bricks in Miniland USA.

The spooky event will also feature trick-or-treating, a Brick or Treat trail and even a build your own Halloween themed LEGO model activity station. And since part of the fun of Halloween is dressing up, Brick or Treat will also offer a four-category costume contest with brick-tastic prizes! So make sure you let your child dress up in his or her best Halloween costume, you never know what kind of prizes they could win. Guests can also expect some new LEGO builds that have been created specially for the spooky event like world’s largest LEGO Jack-O-Lantern!

Brick or Treat runs Saturdays and Sundays throughout October and is included in regular theme park admission. Brick or Treat isn’t the only October event Legoland Florida will be celebrating. The newest Orlando theme park will also be celebrating its first birthday with a huge birthday cake and LEGO celebration you don’t want to miss. We wonder what kind of LEGO birthday fun the park will have in store for guests. Guess we’ll just have to go to see!

Just like the rest of Orlando theme parks, October marks the start of a busy holiday season. In addition to Brick or Treat, Legoland Florida is gearing up for Christmas Bricktacular, Countdown to Kids’ New Year’s Eve and Kids’ New Year’s Eve. Make sure you check back often for more news and info on Legoland Florida’s holiday events.
