Have you been on Transformers: The Ride 3D at Universal Orlando yet? If you haven’t what are you waiting for? Aside from an incredible queue and pre-show, EVAC’s as your ride vehicles and more thrills than you can imagine on an Orlando theme park ride, Transformers: The Ride 3D also lets you see some of the most popular Transformers from the movies and animated series. Let’s take a closer look as to whom you’ll battle with and whom you’ll fight for.
Ravage - The first Transformer riders will come in contact with is the Decepticon Ravage as he grabs a canister containing the Allspark. Ravage is one of only a few Transformers that have been featured in both the original Transformers series and the movie “Beast Wars: Transformers.” Not a typical Transformer, Ravage can disguise himself in many forms but he almost always resembles that of an Earth Panther.
Sideways - Sideways transforms into a motorcycle. It is said that his conscious is housed within the smaller robot who rides his alternate mode, which can split into two components, Rook and Crosswire, who can than transform into one Autobot and one Decepticon. Sideways initially sided with the Autobots but eventually joined Megatron and the Decepticons. Sideways is scene fighting Autobot Bumblebee in the ride.
Megatron - The supreme leader of the Deceptiocns, Megatron wants nothing more than to destruct Earth and the Autobots. He has the ability to transform between his robot shape and various weapons or vehicles.
Grindor – Grindor is the Decepticon who kidnaps Sam, Mikaela and Leo and brings them to Megatron in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” In the ride he can be seen chasing after EVAC as it rolls away with the AutoSpark.
Devastator – Named Devastator for his massive size, this Decepticon is a Constructicon which means it’s formed by the combination of many Decepticons. Devastator consumes and destroys anything that ventures into his vortex and was featured Revenge of the Fallen.
Bumblebee - Bumblebee, who you best know for his role in all of the Transformer films, is a small, yellow Autobot with the alt-mode of a Chevy Camaro. Although he doesn’t talk, Bumblebee is extremely loyal and will do anything to prove himself to the rest of the robots, especially Optimus Prime.
Optimus Prime - The leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime can be seen in every Transformers movie. He is a brave, powerful and wise leader who wants nothing more than to improve the world around him.
EVAC – Evac is the new Transformer created for the ride; he’s the ride vehicle. Entrusted to safely evacuate personal and the AllSpark, take a ride on Evac next time you’re in Universal Orlando.
