Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

In just three days the Magic Kingdom ® at Walt Disney World ® will pack away its ghosts, ghouls and goblins and begin decorating the park with holiday wreaths, nutcrackers, twinkling lights and snow flakes galore for the upcoming holidays during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Beginning Nov. 9, guests will enjoy a ho, ho, ho lot of fun as Magic Kingdom is turned into a winter wonderland with plenty of holiday cheer to go around! On 19 special nights throughout November and December, you and the family can sip cocoa, catch snowflakes enjoy magical shows, dazzling fireworks, carolers and special character meet and greets for a night that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

A few highlights of the festive event include:

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade – With marching toy soldiers; dancing reindeer and gingerbread men; Mickey and Minnie dressed in their best holiday garb and Santa Clause himself, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is a guest favorite and one you absolutely must make time for during your visit.

Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season – It’s not a Walt Disney World ® event without fireworks and the Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks display is easily one of the most magnificent the park puts on. Watch as the night sky explodes with greens and reds set to remixed Classic Christmas songs. And just when you think the show can’t get anymore magical the music and fireworks stop momentarily and artificial snow from Main Street U.S.A. falls from the sky onto grinning guests!

• This season Cinderella Castle will also get a holiday touch-up with thousands of shimmering lights during a ceremonial show performed at dusk. Cinderella’s Holiday Wish show will turn Cinderella Castle into an ice palace as 200,000 tiny white lights cover the castle for an unbelievable light show you won’t believe.

• Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party also offers plenty of character meet-and-greet opportunities with your favorite Disney ® characters dressed in their best holiday attire.  And we can’t leave without telling you about the complimentary cookies and hot cocoa stations set up throughout the park! Make sure you warm up and enjoy a holiday treat with a nice hot cup of cocoa and delicious cookie, on the house!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins Nov. 9 and runs on select nights through Dec. 21. The party begins at 7 p.m. and usually runs through midnight.
