New Orlando Rides for the Bucket ListOrlando will welcome new innovative rides, animal encounters, epic battles and tons more fun this spring and summer as Universal Studios, SeaWorld Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida and Fun Spot Attractions prep their parks to debut their latest ride, show, animals and experiences, and they’re all can’t-miss attractions! Here’s a break-down of each one:

Transformers: The Ride 3D – Orlando, prepare for battle.  Transformers: The Ride 3D is coming to Universal Studios this summer and with it will come the intergalactic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons for a ground-breaking adventure you have to try. The already popular ride at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Singapore will have you fighting alongside Optimus Prime to save mankind and the Autobots. Along the way, you’ll come face-to-face with Megatron and dodge explosives and attacks by Decepticons for the greatest battle you’ll ever ride! And to get you even more excited about the ride’s opening, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee have been making appearances at the park since last month. ETA: Summer 2013

Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin – The coolest attraction on Earth is coming to SeaWorld Orlando this spring. It’s called Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin and it will take guests on an epic voyage to the icy world of Antarctica to explore the continent’s penguins in a one-of-a-kind ride experience. Riders will become Artic explorers as they go beneath the surface and follow a colony of penguins for up-close animal experiences with four different penguin species, including Puck, the animated penguin whose eyes you see everything through. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin debuts in May. ETA: May 24th, 2013

World of Chima – This July, LEGOLAND Florida guests will engage in their own battle to defend the mystical energy source at the new World of Chima area in the park. The World of Chima presented by Cartoon Network will take families on an interactive water adventure where you join the Lion tribe in a battle to recover the stolen CHI orbs. Guests will board watercrafts and use water cannons to help Laval the Lion Prince defeat Cragger the Crocodile King. In addition to the new ride, visitors can build their own LEGO Speedorz and compete in a series of obstacles to fight for the CHI in the Speedorz Arena. LEGOLAND Florida will also show a new movie called “LEGO Chima 4D Movie Xperience.”  ETA: Summer 2013

Fun Spot Expansion – More fun is coming to Orlando this spring as Fun Spot Attractions adds new tracks, new rides and new food to their already expansive entertainment options. The expansion will include a 2,000+ foot White Lightening wooded coaster and the 1,200+ foot Chance Ride’s Vekoma suspended family steel coaster as well as a 250-foot-tall SkyCoaster, a new multi-level go-kart track, a 50-foot-tall Statue of Liberty, dozens of new amusement rides, a newly designed food court, and a Water Park!
