Top Things to Do

Best Dancing Attraction at Orlando Theme ParksHow would you like to move and groove with your favorite Disney ® or Universal character on your next trip to Walt Disney World ® or Universal Orlando? Well, you can! Both Orlando theme parks offer plenty of opportunities to shake your groove thang. From slow dancing with Belle to boogying with minions here are the top dancing attractions at Walt Disney World ® and Universal Orlando:

Walt Disney World ®:

Club 626 – Take a mid-afternoon break from Magic Kingdom’s ® rides and attractions and get your groove on at this high-energy dance party in Tomorrowland! DJ Elliot gets everybody off their seat and on the dance floor when he spins the Cha Cha Slide, YMCA, the Electric Slide, Hannah Montana’s Hoedown Throwdown and many more family-friendly dance tunes. But the best part is (aside from getting to shake your groove thing in the middle of Disney ®) you’ll dance alongside your favorite Disney ® characters including Stitch, Goofy, Pluto and Chip & Dale, all of whom come out to help teach you the moves. They’ll come down from the stage and dance, socialize, and take pictures with everyone!

Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party – If you didn’t get to dance with your favorite Disney ® character at Club 626 you’re sure to bust a move with them in front of Cinderella Castle during the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party. The show starts with beloved Disney ® characters wearing Mardi Gras beads swinging to music. Then when the music picks up you can join the dance party and show off your moves as you dance alongside Mr. Incredible, Frozone, Minnie Mouse, Baloo, Chip ‘n Dale, Woody, and many more! You’ll even learn some new dance steps as performers in colorful costumes show you how it’s done. The Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party is all about celebrating your day so go ahead and celebrate those moves!

Enchanted Tales with Belle – Get the chance to portray Beast and share a slow dance with the beautiful Belle in this unique meet-and-greet attraction. After walking through Maurice’s cottage and checking out all of his wacky inventions, you’ll be transported through a magic portal into Beast’s castle for a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and one you can take part in. A talking wardrobe picks members of the audience to play different characters and if you’re chosen for Beast you’ll enjoy a lovely dance with the princess.

Universal Orlando:

Minion Dance Party – After enduring a harrowing journey where you are turned into Minions and put through a Minion “training,” which includes virtual falls, punches, swats and squirts of water on the 3D ride Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem you’ll return back to human and celebrate your adventure with a dance party. You can’t skip this dance party, either. In fact you have to walk right through it before you can leave the ride so you might as well let loose and dance along with the many minions who take over the screens all around you, boogying to Boogie Fever. And what’s a dance party without cameras capturing your every move? Minion Dance Party has set up cameras throughout, taking photos of guests dancing as they leave the ride.

There are plenty more ways to bust a move and dance with your favorite animated character at both Walt Disney World ® and Universal Orlando ®. To do so you can find discounted tickets right here on Orlando Fun Tickets.
