Best Despicable Me souuvenirs, Sleepy Kittens

Now that Universal Orlando’s new Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem attraction has successfully launched and the Orlando theme park guests continue to pile in to experience the “mayhem” it’s time to take a closer look at some of the “despicable” fun guests can experience outside of the new ride, particularly its new merchandise.

After taking a 3D adventure where ride-goers are recruited, trained and transformed into Minions guests can take home a piece of the “Despicable Me” fun at the new ride’s retail store, appropriately titled the Super Silly Stuff store.

Once you’ve shown off your best dance moves at the end of the ride (For those of you who haven’t yet had the great pleasure of taking a trip with Gru, his adopted daughters and the minions, get ready to dance after the ride), you’ll then have the chance to explore the Super Silly Stuff store where you’ll be surrounded by all things “Despicable Me.”

And even if at first you aren’t interested in taking a souvenir home from the 3D ride, once you walk around a bit you’ll fall in love with some of Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem’s merchandise, especially the minion souvenirs. Those silly and mischievous yellow creatures are without a doubt the star of the attraction and you can take one home with you in the form of a stuffed animal, shirts starring the goggle-eyed beings, minion golf balls and more. You can even create your very own minion with the “Build a Minion” take-home kit. Included in the set are the minions famous goggle-wearing eyes, different lips, arms with plungers and weapons attached and more.

If you’re more of a Gru fan, check out the slew of many T-Shirts featuring the dastardly villain including shirts that say “Evil is as Evil does,” “Just Another Evil Good-Lookin’ Bald Guy” and even one that has been designed to look like Gru’s black jacket complete with a zipper and scarf. And for the ultimate Gru souvenir, you can purchase the signature scarf Gru wears or the lab coat with the Gru symbol the team members wear.

And for a little something to remember Gru’s adopted daughters with make sure you pick up one of those boxes of cookies they tried to sell him in the movie like Coconutties. Don’t worry they are not Dr. Nefario’s robot cookies. There are also a Three Sleepy Kittens puppet book, the Big Fluffy Unicorn and more.

Ride a “despicable” attraction with Gru, his three adopted daughters and thousands of minions, then take some of the fun home with you. Look for discounted Universal Orlando tickets right here on Orlando Fun Tickets.
