Halloween may conjure up images of ghosts, ghouls and goblins but in Orlando many of the theme park’s Halloween festivities are geared towards children. In fact, most Orlando theme parks are stocked with candy, not-so-scary characters and spooky activities. Here are the top Halloween Festivities for Kids in Orlando:

SeaWorld Orlando

Kids will enjoy an ocean of Halloween fun during SeaWorld Orlando's annual Halloween spooktacular event! Dive into the silly spooky fun with such Halloween-themed kid’s activities as dancing with sea fairies and pumpkin fish, sea-themed arts and crafts, dance parties with Princess Penelope and her friends and much more! Kids will also enjoy the kid-friendly show Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween at the Seaport Theater. But perhaps the best part about SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is the trick-or-treat stations! Kids can follow their special Halloween Spooktacular maps to different stations throughout the park and collect gobs of candy and sweet treats! SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular spooks and delights every weekend in October from 12 – 8 p.m.

LEGOLAND Florida

The spooky and kooky event Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND Florida will let kids scour Miniland U.S.A. in search of LEGO Monster figures and their enemies, build LEGO ghosts, compete for the best costume in the Kids Costume Contest, meet & greet LEGO Halloween characters, enjoy a spooky dance party in Miniland U.S.A., see the world’s largest LEGO pumpkin and collect candy on the Brick-or-Treat Trail! Kids will love mixing with Disney Villains at the Disney Villains Dance Mix and Mingle. The always popular Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade and the fireworks spectacular Happy HalloWishes will also make the ghoulish night something your kids will talk about for many Halloweens to come. And just like the rest of the Halloween festivities, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will include trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom ®.

ZooBoo at Lowry Park Zoo

ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is Tampa Bay’s Largest Family Halloween Event, and that means there is plenty for the kids to see and do! Perhaps the most popular kids festivities include the Spooky Fun Fair where children will be able to step right up and try their luck at some fun and challenging Halloween games including Pumpkin Patch, Monster Ball, T-Ball Baseball, Shoot Out and more. There is also the Little Beasties Bungalow for the littlest ghouls in the group. This area will take kids through a not-so-scary forest filled with dazzling lights and friendly Halloween scenes. Kids will also enjoy ZooBoo’s free rides like the cleverly named Batty Bumper Boats, Pumpkin Patch Express, Roarin’ Roller-Ghoster and more.
