If you haven’t already heard, Universal Orlando’s CityWalk is currently undergoing a renovation that will include eight new eateries to the venue by June. So far, there are already a few new restaurants open for business and we expect to see a few more before we hit the busy summer months.

The most visible change at this point has been the addition of Antojitos, a Mexican restaurant that opened just a few weeks ago. This unique eatery will take guests on a journey through the cantinas, street carts and markets of Mexico City for delicious authentic Mexican food you’ll be raving about. Couple that with the freshest ingredients, colorful décor and authentic bar menu and you may never want to leave.

The other restaurant that has recently opened at the revamped CityWalk is the Red Oven Pizza Bakery. Here pizza lovers can indulge in authentic, artisan pizza made fresh while you wait. But this isn’t your average pizza joint. Using the highest quality ingredients, specialty bakers and a traditional stone-lined oven that cooks at 900 degrees in 90 seconds or less, Red Oven Pizza Bakery will make you feel like you are really eating a slice in Italy! Each pizza is handmade, per your order and delivered immediately to your table when it is ready. Talk about freshness!

Other Universal CityWalk restaurants that will have guest’s mouths watering before summer hits include The Cowfish sushi/ burger bar. This innovative new restaurant will combine sushi with creative burgers for an untraditional dining experience. The result is something called “Burgushi.” A fusion of burger and sushi “burgushi” items will include sushi rolls created using burger components and sandwiches created using sushi elements.

Hot Dog Hall of Fame will give diners the most iconic hot dog creations from our nation’s most famous ballparks. Guests can strike out their hunger at this unique restaurant where the chairs are bleachers and enjoy a loaded Chicago dog, a perfectly charred Boston brat, a monster L.A. dog and more.

Italian lovers will want to head to Pranzo for modern Italian cuisine at the new restaurant created by Universal Orlando. This incredible culinary team will handcraft your pasta from scratch to create fresh takes on classic Italian dishes.

Those with a sweet tooth can cap off their dinner with an indulgent ice cream concoction at Coldstone Creamery or frozen yogurt at Menchies. If you’d rather get a jolt after your meal head to the new Starbucks in CityWalk.

Stay tuned for more details on the 8 new restaurants coming to Universal’s CityWalk.
