In just a few short months, the new Harry Potter area called Diagon Alley will open at Universal Orlando Resort. Muggles can expect even more Harry Potter fun than what is already currently available at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure including new rides, restaurants and lots of shops from the hit book and film series. Here are just a few of the shops you can expect to experience at the new Diagon Alley:

Leaky Cauldron – Universal officially announced that Diagon Alley would include the restaurant Leaky Cauldron. Not much else has been revealed about the restaurant other than it is expected to open this summer and include many eats from the books and films.

Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor – Besides being able to dine at Leaky Cauldron, muggles will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor, which will feature strawberry and peanut butter ice cream (as featured in the books), among other delicious flavors.

Borgin and Burke’s – A shop devoted to the Dark arts, Borgin and Burke’s will lure in guests for its masks, skulls and other sinister items from the Harry Potter books and films.

Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions – Here Universal Orlando guests can stock up on their Hogwarts school uniforms including accessories like ties, scarves and jumpers, wizard’s robes and character costumes.

Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment – For those serious about becoming a wizard head to Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment store where you’ll find telescopes, binoculars, armillary spheres, compasses, magnifying glasses and hourglasses for all of your many wizarding adventures.

Quality Quidditch Supplies – Quidditch lovers in your group will enjoy being able to finally purchase all things Quidditch including sweaters, brooms, Golden Snatches, Bludgers, Bludger bats and Quaffles at this unique store.

Scribbulus – Book worms and writers will delight at Scribbulus where you’ll be bombarded with Hogwarts school supplies such as feather quills, in and inkwells, bookmarks, journals, parchment paper, seals, stationary sets and postcards.

In addition to the many shops, Diagon Alley will include a new train ride called the Hogwarts Express that takes guests between The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Islands of Adventure and the new Diagon Alley in Universal Studios. There will also be a new roller coaster based on Gringotts Bank called “Escape From Gringotts.” It has been described as Diagon Alley’s marquee attraction, taking guests through Gringotts bank vaults on an indoor adventure.

Stay tuned for more details on Universal Orlando’s Diagon Alley as we get closer to its opening this summer.
