Walt Disney World Discover Disney

If you live in Florida and you didn’t get a chance to go to Walt Disney World ® this past holiday season or last year, the Orlando theme park is making it extremely easy for Florida Residents to go in 2013 with their new “Discover Disney” Florida Resident tickets.

At the beginning of January Walt Disney World ® announced the Discover Disney tickets would allow Floridians to discover what’s new at the four parks with a three day pass for just $119 plus tax for adults and children three and up. And, to make the already sweet deal more enticing, Florida residents can even add a fourth day for just $10 more!

If you didn’t take advantage of Walt Disney World ® in years past, 2013 is certainly the year to explore the Orlando theme park. With New Fantasyland complete; the re-imagined Test Track now open at Epcot ®; and the new Limited Time Magic, which features a different themed week every week of the year, you’ll need at least three days to experience it!

Here’s what’ll you get to experience with your Discover Disney tickets at Walt Disney World ® in 2013:

Magic Kingdom ® The new Fantasyland in Magic kingdom ® is luring in thousands of guests everyday with its new restaurants, rides and meet-and-greets that immerse guests in the world of their favorite fairytale and it’s not even complete yet! Sure, New Fantasyland had its grand opening in December but there are still a few more attractions coming this year like Fairytale Princess Hall. The elegant royal court will feature your favorite princesses from Disney’s ® most popular movies including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Aurora, Rapunzel and more in an enchanted meet and greet. Don’t miss the new Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland as well, where you’ll find clowns, Dumbo, the Great Goofini roller coaster, and more!

Epcot ®There are several new additions and events that you can experience with your Discover Disney tickets this year including the debut of the Bernard and Shirley Kinsey Collection. This collection celebrates the African-American history and will be on display in the American Adventure Pavilion. In the France Pavilion, Monsieur Paul will roll out a new menu celebrating the authentic taste of French cuisine, and you can’t miss the new Test Track that lets you create your very own concept car and test it out on the technologically advanced track.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios ®Pirate wannabes can now walk the plank with Captain Jack Sparrow and see if they have what it takes to be a buccaneer in the new walk-through attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow. If you do, you’ll become immersed in all of the pirate action like encountering skull and crossbones, engage in a pirate battle on the high seas and even take a pirate oath.

The Discover Disney tickets can be purchased right here on Orlando Fun Tickets through June 5, and are good for any of the Walt Disney World ® parks, excluding some block-out dates. And you can add the Park Hopper and/or Water Park Fun and More Options for more theme park fun.
