Epcot guests will soon be able to enjoy an out-of-this-world dining experience. Disney recently announced a new space-themed restaurant will be coming to the area near Mission: SPACE at the Orlando theme park.

The restaurant will invite guests to take a trip into orbit where they will enjoy spectacular views from high above Earth.

“We know our guests love dining at Epcot – and the restaurants really are out of this world,” said Walt Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald, during a presentation at D23 Expo 2017. “Now we’re about to create one that takes that literally.”

The new space restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group. The group operates several other restaurants at Walt Disney World including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot.

Speaking of outer space – Epcot’s Mission: SPACE is currently getting an upgrade. When it reopens guests will be able to enjoy improved visuals on the “Orange” mission as well as an entirely new “Green” mission, which will take riders on an Earth orbit.
