The 22nd Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is celebrating Epcot’s 35th year in a big way! The annual foodie event will run for 75 days, opening August 31 and running through November 13. It will also have a record 35 marketplaces, including two newbies: India and Spain.
Full menus have not yet been released, but among the new items listed are crispy chicken with griddled cornbread and red-eye gravy for the Farm Fresh Marketplace; the spicy Korma Chicken with cucumber-tomato salad, almonds, cashews and warm naan bread, and pistachio cardamom cake with a dollop of chocolate coconut mousse from the India Marketplace; and the charcuterie in a cone from the Spain marketplace.
Returning favorites of the festival include the Ratatouille-inspired scavenger hunt as well as appearances by TV chefs, culinary demos geared towards kids’ palates, the Party for the Senses events and Eat to the Beat Concerts. Acts have not yet been announced for the Eat to the Beat concerts but there will be a total of 225 performances.
