The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom at Walt Disney World ® and that means character-themed topiaries, gorgeous gardens, and even fun-filled events for kids!
Yes, kids can even dig up the fun at this year’s Epcot Flower & Garden Festival with several displays featuring popular Disney ® characters, garden play areas, food and beverages and so much more!
Here are just a few of the garden-themed activities budding for kids at this year’s Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival:
Garden Passports – Kids can feel like world travelers with a Flower & Garden Festival Garden Passport. Simply pick up a passport on your next visit and get it stamped at stops along the way. This is a great way for the kids to see more of the festival and everything it has to offer. Garden Passports can be found at the Festival Welcome Center, Disney Vacation Club information Center at all Outdoor Kitchens and several merchandise locations.
Mater’s Parts, Plants & Play Garden – Cars fans will love this Cars-themed garden located at Test Track Walkway. Your favorite Cars characters Lightning McQueen and Mater will show you how to rev your engine in this fun-filled garden every kid will love.
Mike & Sully’s Monstrous Garden – Have a monstrous good time at this garden where “Monsters University” characters Mike and Sully are spotted saluting their alma mater. Both characters are made completely of vibrant spring flowers, as is the archway that reads, “Monsters University.”
Backyard Play Garden – Presented by GoGo squeeZ – This garden area lets kids both young and young at heart take part in stimulating activities that inspire playful, active and healthy living.
Tinker Bell’s Butterfly House – Presented by HGTV – Kids will love watching Tinker Bell’s magical butterflies flutter about at this unique stop.
Other kid friendly stops at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival include the Spring Fresh Food and Beverages station where kids can enjoy a variety of food and beverages from Outdoor Kitchens around the World Showcase Promenade, Gardener’s Palette and a Muppet Kids Activities area.
